Once again, we have a runaway winner for the Grey’s Anatomy poll, so the next one is one with a pure ensemble and no huge standouts.

(1) Breaking Bad – Bryan Cranston
(2) Arrested Development – Jessica Walter
(3) Grey’s Anatomy – Sandra Oh

Burrell > Stonestreet > Bowen > Rodriguez > O’Neill > Ferguson > Hyland > Vergara > Winter > A-E > Gould
I may have voted for Stonestreet though, just because Burrell is seeming more shticky as the show goes on.September 5, 2014 at 12:18 am #332059This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.September 5, 2014 at 1:40 am #332060
I love this show, and it deserved all of its 5 wins (come at me bitches) and it’s the only show ever that I can binge-watch full season in a day!
I love Vergara too much that I vote for her, but I do think that Stonestreet is the best of the actors on MFSeptember 5, 2014 at 2:42 am #332061
Not one actor is the weak link in this damn show. Everybody is so good, even Lilly. Although I’m over Rico and Nolan’s charms, they were just so awkward (not in a good way) teens this whole past season. But if I had to rank the adults, I’d say –
Burrell > Stonestreet > Bowen > O’Neill > Vergara > Tyler-FergusonSeptember 5, 2014 at 3:59 am #332062
Burrell’s character will be the one everyone remembers after the show is over. Stonestreet had that role until Cam became a caricature in S2 and S3.
Phil Dunphy is one of the all-time great sitcom characters, in my opinion.September 5, 2014 at 4:58 am #332063
Torn between Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen.
In the end i’ll probably go for Ty Burrell. He is Television’s quirkiest, most lovable Dad. He just commands attention, he commands screentime, and his scenes are always comedic and heartfelt.September 5, 2014 at 6:10 am #332064
Burrell is the easy standout. He’s been my favorite character since season one, and I gave him the personal win for the first three seasons. Among the kids, however, Hyland should not be discredited. She’s downright hysterical on this show now. I’ve really been surprised by her growth and I hope she finds her place in Hollywood after Modern Family ends. This past season, I nominted her and Ferguson for my personal awards. But Burrell is easily the best. When all else fails, he still makes me laugh.September 6, 2014 at 10:45 am #332065
Singing Natalie Imbruglia for this poll. No one really stands out. I’ll give a vote to someone who has no chance of winning.September 6, 2014 at 11:12 am #332066
Ty Burrell is really the only actor on Modern Family who is actually entertaining.

The Dunphys have stood out from the beginning. It’s just a matter of choosing between Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen.
It looks like it’s another runaway choice. Ty Burrell wins.September 6, 2014 at 1:33 pm #332068
Jesse Tyler Ferguson has a very complicated character on hands while Stonestreet resorts to screaming and over-gesticulating. It became annoying and only showed how much of a limited actor he really is. He can be funny but he’s just plain offensive. Ferguson is a lot better dramatically. I chose Burrell because sometimes Bowen over-acts (and reminds me too much of my mom) otherwise I would’ve chosen her.September 6, 2014 at 1:58 pm #332069
Hmmm. I’ll vote for Julie Bowen.September 6, 2014 at 2:13 pm #332070
Easy decision for me: Ty Burrell. Although I certainly have never disliked any of the characters, Phil is the only one that I always find most amusing and never irritating (unlike, say, Julie Bowen or Sofia Vergara).

Only watched the first three seasons in their entirety and a few episodes from season five. From what I saw it’s Burrell. But Bowen is the best when her plot is on point. Too bad post season one has needed her character to play more of the stereotypical harpy.
