Let’s be real. Strahovski was so annoying in THT… doesn’t deserve even a vote.

Had to bring this back- I’m in the middle of bingeing the Americans (to avoid series fatigue I watch a season and then take a month or two off so it’s been a slow process) and Alison Wright’s astonishing performance as Martha needs to be mentioned. She’s been consistently great, but her work in season 4 is simply phenomenal, I’m willing to say on par with that of Headey, Gunn, Newton, or any other heavyweights in this category. She’s that damn good.

Obviously she didn’t get Emmy nominated for her work in season four because of how horrible the Emmys were to the show up until its final season, but she was nominated at Gold Derby, losing to Headey for GOT Season 6, go figure.

This whole thread and poll is the most offensive thing I’ve seen on this site. I feel attacked.

By the way, the true best supporting actress of the decade is very obvious

Lena Headey’s portrayal as Cersei Lannister wasn’t just one of the best performances of the decade but ever.

I totally agree. The ensemble on that show as a whole is so underrated (Mahendru, Langella, Baker etc). At least Wright got a guest actress nomination the following year as a make-up for season 4. But yes she’s better than at least half of this list.

Preach! I would say that she is the best among all the other women in this thread.
