I am fairly certain that this will breakthrough at the Emmys. Probably not series but writing, directing and guest. And I am fairly certain this will get WGA nominations. I am currently predicting this to get Best comedy and at least one episodic at WGA.August 11, 2017 at 6:11 pm #1202182632

If that’s not a vanity production, I’m not sure what is.August 26, 2017 at 1:59 am #1202195462
Does anyone think the ratings for Better Things will improve if Pamela Adlon wins the Emmy? She has the only tape “Future Fever” that actually rivals JLD, in my opinion.
Note to myself: Don’t ever feed the trolls. Don’t get involved in others drama. Don’t let myself be swayed by others predictions, trust my gut more often!
Note to all others: If you don’t happen to like me, ignore me. It is that simple.August 26, 2017 at 2:17 am #1202195465

Baskets’ season 2 ratings were pretty steady after Anderson’s win, which makes me think it helps. But I believe Better Things could even increase because an Adlon win would be talked about much more.September 13, 2017 at 1:36 pm #1202211969

Do I see it getting more Emmy nominations in its future? Hmmmm….
95 is amazing. Let’s see where it settles down. If nothing else, a score in the 90’s means she’ll more competitive next year. Maybe even get in for writing for Louis CK.September 14, 2017 at 7:28 am #1202212561

I would love to see it expand in nominations but I am not sure where there might be room. With Master of None not coming back next year, maybe it can steal few of those “auteur comedy” votes. Writing seems like its best bet but I kind of think that the Veep/Silicon Valley/Atlanta trio will claim all of those spots in some combination.
