I’m completely torn between those 2 and which I should be rooting for. Discounting the other 3 contenders (Big Bang’s golden days are over, Modern Family’s golden days are REALLY over, and Orange has already won the past 2 years in a row) which of these 2 fantastic casts is more deserving of a first Comedy Ensemble win?January 17, 2017 at 3:34 pm #1201989841
So, what do you all think?January 17, 2017 at 3:52 pm #1201989852
BlackishJanuary 17, 2017 at 5:03 pm #1201989888
Veep, absolutely. Even though season 5 was a little shaky due to the writer change, I still think they knocked it out of the park. The ensemble is pretty underrated, in my opinion.January 17, 2017 at 5:11 pm #1201989891
Veep deserves to win this and it’s not even close. But Black-ish might be easier for a group this large to digest.January 17, 2017 at 5:12 pm #1201989893
None of these shows are winning. Orange has this category on lock until the series ends.January 17, 2017 at 5:53 pm #1201989909
Veep every actor male and female are on pointJanuary 17, 2017 at 5:58 pm #1201989914
Why Black-ish over Veep, exactly?
blackish has an importance to it, as does Veep. Blackish has such range in its performances from the over the top Grandma, Lewis, to the care free grandpa, respected actor Fishburne. It has kids that can act, a rare treasure in it’s self. It has the range of dramatic performances and Silly performance from Anderson and Ross. And more people watch it than Veep. Keep in mind, these are the actors that still watch the Big Bang theory. A lot of them are normal people.January 17, 2017 at 6:27 pm #1201989925
Black-ish hopefully. Although admittedly I’ve never consistently watched Veep, but it looks stellar too.January 17, 2017 at 7:57 pm #1201989957
Even though I enjoy Black-ish more; Veep has one of the best ensembles of all-timeJanuary 17, 2017 at 8:11 pm #1201989966
Veep easily. Black-ish is great, but Veep has outstanding performances all round and the actors have fantastic chemistry. I find the kids in black-ish very wooden and basic.January 17, 2017 at 8:39 pm #1201989977

I really don’t see that happening. Unless you’re Modern Family or Seinfeld, two is enough.
Aren’t you the one who bangs the drum for how awful the voter body is at SAG after the merger? Other award bodies have moved on from Orange. They’re still nominating Uzo for an individual prize.
