Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s final season premieres on August 12 and will run for ten episodes. While previously only recognized for Andre Braugher’s performance (a total of four times though, so no slouch), the Emmys do tend to shove all their eggs into the basket of final seasons of popular shows. Therefore, it’s totally possible for the show to get more recognition in one big final hurrah. Thoughts?August 3, 2021 at 7:33 pm #1204379953
It’s network and it’s not called black-ish. Not a chance.
Can’t wait to see it though.August 20, 2021 at 3:43 pm #1204407336
Sorry but the liberals who write Brooklyn 99 can’t do a comedy about police work anymore!August 29, 2021 at 6:25 pm #1204423599
Is anyone watching this? The “Blue Flu” episode was great!August 29, 2021 at 8:24 pm #1204423936
So far I’m liking this season, though frankly I’ll be surprised if they manage to pull off these arcs in 10 episodes. Especially since they seem to be gearing up for Peralta ultimately resigning or being fired, which felt like it was suddenly introduced in episodes 5 and 6.August 29, 2021 at 8:26 pm #1204423946
Slurp slurp, I’m impressed how they keep incorporating Rosa after leaving the force. Amy and her changing clothes scenes were greatAugust 29, 2021 at 8:27 pm #1204423950
Me. I’m enjoying it. 10 episodes is a hard ask, though.
Braugher is as consistent as always and could easily come back.September 11, 2021 at 6:45 am #1204450664
Why did they skip this week and missed the chance of airing the series finale on 9/9?September 17, 2021 at 4:47 am #1204465123
Just watched the finale. Nice fun wrap up I am sure fans of the show will be happy with. Braugher and Samberg have a really nice scene in the finale which I liked a lot. Have actually only watched 1-3 and the final 2 (am a bit behind) but Braugher could easily submit the season opener as his ep and perhaps get in again. Lots of guests in the finale too.September 17, 2021 at 7:39 am #1204465361
Braugher has done his best work on the show this season. If he somehow makes it back in, “Renewal” (S8E8) would probably be his submission. Holt trying to seduce O’Sullivan’s mother was gaspingly funny.
I’ll miss this show, but at least it went out with a solid run of episodes.September 17, 2021 at 8:25 am #1204465492

I’ll miss it as well.
I think Braugher gets back in based on the eps I’ve seen.September 17, 2021 at 9:00 pm #1204467114
That was great finale. Too bad Braugher never got awards for Holt.
