Most of the season has aired…any comment about season 3? Who’s watching?

Any special episode, or performance that should be on Emmy radar?

Who’s this season standout? Any notable guest starring role?

I’ve watched about half the season, because the UK shows it quite a bit behind- the last episode I watched was the episode with Andre Braugher dancing at the start. I’m a massive Brooklyn Nine-Nine fan, but this season has been so disappointing, especially coming off such a strong season last time round. I’ve been looking really closely for a possible episode for Andre Braugher to submit, but they’re just not giving him good enough material- if he couldn’t win last year, he’s not going to win this year- he may not even get nominated. He’s not even the best supporting player this season, as they are giving much better material to Joe Lo Truglio and Terry Crews, with the latter knocking it out of the park regularly. The Jake and Amy love story plot is SO bad, so count out Andy Samberg in Lead Actor again. As for guest stars, I thought Kathryn Hahn was pretty good, but she’s always good in everything. Kyra Sedgwick is also pretty good in her recurring role, and Bill Hader was decent in limited screen time. Yeah, it’s a sub-par season, but I enjoyed the Halloween episode, and the Die Hard episode.

Last week episode, “Paranoia”, was one of the best B99’s episode until now. I really loving this season.

Just finished the third season, and while it was a disappointment overall as it couldn’t meet the dizzy heights of the first two seasons, I really liked the new direction of the last couple of episodes. With the two part finale, Andre Braugher really revitalized his Emmy hopes, as he was excellent at bouncing off Dennis Haysbert, who definitely deserves a Guest Actor nomination. Overall, a solid season overall, not as funny as the first two, but there’s a couple of really good episodes in there. However, I think it’ll be the same two nominations again this year (Stunts and Supporting Actor for Braugher), with Braugher’s best episode submission being Episode 22 (“Bureau”).

Seaosn 5 premiere was great and B99 still being one of the best comedy series of this decade.
