Last episode (S06E05 – “A Tale of Two Bandits”) was another Doug Judy episode. They happen to be some of the best episodes for me and this one did not disappoint. Craig Robinson deserves an Emmy for his guest-starring role. Trudy Judy (played by the always delightful Nicole Byer) has a lot of potential. Any thoughts?

Lin-Manuel Miranda, a big fan of the show, will be guesting on the March 7 episode as Amy’s (Melissa Fumero) brother.

NBC has renewed the series for a seventh season. Woot! So far this season, it is their highest-rated comedy in the 18-49 demographic.

This season has been very consistent so far, and I’ve been very impressed with the seamless transition between networks. Chelsea Peretti will be missed, but seeing as how she’s had a largely reduced role in the past season or two, her absence hasn’t been detrimental. Thrilled that the Nine-Nine is back on our screens, and even more thrilled that they’ll be back again in the fall!
