Who do you think will get casting nods this year.

    My bets for comedy are:

    Dead to Me
    The Marvelous Mrs Maisel
    Run
    Schitts Creek
    Space Force

    Emmys FYC

Christina Applegate in ‘Dead to Me’

The White Lotus in all categories

Elizabeth Debicki, Lesley Manville and Yvonne Strahovski- Drama Supporting Actress

    Ali Wong in ‘Beef’

I think The Crown will easily win just because they recasted everyone.

I think it’s either the Crown or another name-check for Succession.
I personally root for the Crown in this one, despite supporting Succession in most other things

I will give The Crown casting because I think, bar Colman, they did an absolutely terrific job finding the perfect actors to play these characters (although I still love the original cast so much more!). With that said, Handmaid’s has never won for assembling this brilliant ensemble, and Ozark deserves credit for casting people like Julia Garner and Tom Pelphrey, giving them a platform to shine. Big Little Lies has already won casting, so they’re good.

DRAMAThe Crown, The Handmaid’s Tale, Ozark, Stranger Things, Succession

I have Stranger Things because it didn’t miss for its first two seasons, which isn’t a strong argument in a competitive year. Big Little Lies could get in because of Streep, or maybe even Westworld. This is also a test for The Morning Show‘s support, which I doubt it’ll happen.

COMEDYDead to Me, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Run, Schitt’s Creek, Silicon Valley

I’d say the fifth spot goes to Netflix., whether that’s Dead to Me, Space Force or even GLOW. I have Silicon Valley because it hasn’t missed since 2016 and it’s easier than usual to get in. HBO usually has two comedies in casting, which is weird considering that they don’t have a strong contender.
