I think Gomez was the best. I loved every minute of her and to be honest the only reason I stuck around was solely because of her. My biggest problem was Kiernan Shipka’s performance, it felt like she was acting in a school play.
I liked her more in the back half of the season. She wasn’t my favorite but she was very good. The character was just a little too much occasionally for me in the earlier episodes. On the other hand, I loved Shipka in the role and think she perfectly portrayed Sabrina’s defiance and love for the mortal world. I am really excited to see how they’ll tap into Sabrina’s darker side in S2. Hopefully, Shipka gets some juicier material to work with in the next season. The only weak link for me in the entire cast was Lynch. Wasn’t a big fan of his acting.November 2, 2018 at 3:04 pm #1202667034
I wasn’t a fan of the original show but this one has surprise me a lot…i like it very much and any show that has Miranda Otto is a win.

I really liked it, because it was not I expected. I used to love Sabrina the teenage witch growing up and was expecting something along those lines, not Satanism and cannibalism.
Re: Kieran Shipka – I liked her. Didn’t think she was as terrible as some say here, especially if you compare this to her atrocious appearance on Feud. Now that was forced and like she was in a bad school play.November 11, 2018 at 3:47 pm #1202672817
I watched all of it and came to two conclusions:
1)When it’s scary, its scary but for me that was few and far between but the show still was captivating
2)Ross Lynch is not a good actor

Just finished the season. It was great with really awesome and exciting moments. But I thought it had a few plot holes and lack of character development that bothered me. Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto and specially Michelle Gomez were all great. My favorite episodes was “The Dark Baptism” (second) and “The Witching Hour” (finale).December 3, 2018 at 1:40 pm #1202688473
This looks even better than the first one. Didn’t realise it was out for a few days.December 14, 2018 at 6:05 am #1202701106
Loved the x-mas special. Can’t believe they’re giving us 21 episodes within 5 months. They’re really spoiling us.December 18, 2018 at 10:08 am #1202705215

Oh my God! Loved S2 and its conclusion! Can’t wait for S3April 6, 2019 at 6:57 am #1202842136
I’ve watched the first three episodes and so far I’m enjoying it more than S1.
P.S. Why is the actress playing Agatha named in the credits but not the one playing Dorcas, even when the latter had a more prominent role so far?April 6, 2019 at 7:55 am #1202842158
P.S. Why is the actress playing Agatha named in the credits but not the one playing Dorcas, even when the latter had a more prominent role so far?
I’ve been wondering that since S1. I think it’s because Agatha is the only one of three weird sisters that exists in the comics. She’s actually Prudence’s counterpart in the comics. And they have included the actors that play the characters from the comics in the opening credits only, hence Lachlan Watson who plays Susie/Theo isn’t credited either, ’cause his(/her?) character in the comics isn’t featured either. So, Prudence is actually Agatha from the comics, so that’s why she’s also in the opening credits, and since Agatha is in the comics they also feature her actress on the show in the credits? It’s weird, but indeed both Lachlan Watson and Abigail Crowen (Dorcas) should be in the opening credits, maybe in S3 they change it, since they’ll be able to have different contracts.April 7, 2019 at 12:18 pm #1202843153
Episode 6 was bonkers. Especially that ending. I’m loving this season so far. I hope it gets some craft nominations at the Emmys.
P.S. Did I just spot Riley as one of the students at the Academy of Unseen Arts in episode 7?
