Freddie Highmore never being nominated even after five seasons of Bates Motel and two seasons of The Good Doctor (and this bad record is likely to rise again this year with The Good Doctor S3).

I don’t even ask to him to win. I would already be happy with at least one nomination.

Wanda Sykes did not get nominated for Guest Actress for Black-ish in 2019 so she would not have taken Justin Lupe’s spot for season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Wanda Sykes was nominated in 2017 and 2018. The one that is truly robbed of a nomination is Jenifer Lewis from Black-ish.

I’m not saying it was annoying, I’m saying it will be annoying. Sykes had a cameo on Maisel this season, and I even though she did pretty much nothing, the category’s so empty and she’s a big name, so she’s likely to get in. Justine Lupe also didn’t do much at all this season, but she still had more material than Sykes and was definitely more enjoyable.

Got it. I did not see season 3 yet of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel yet.

Well, maybe the voters have moved on from Wanda Sykes in Guest because she did not get in last year for Black-ish.

Hopefully, as someone who loves the show, Sykes getting in would be completely undeserved. She’s good, but she’s in it for about three minutes, and the quality of her appearance doesn’t make up for the quantity.

I do hope that Wanda Sykes gets meaty material somewhere because I would love for her to win an Emmy. I think that the closest where Wanda had meaty material was on The Old Adventures of New Christine

Dave Annable from Brothers & Sisters was definitely robbed of a Supporting Actor nomination in the 2007-2008 season with his addiction storyline.

    Eva Green for Penny Dreadful.
Nominated but didn’t win, Keri Russell.

I’ve never seen it but I’ve read people were shocked when Lonesome Dove lost Best Mini-Series (to War and Remembrance.)

If we are talking about not winning, then it must be McConaughey for True Detective S1.

I know Cranston was brilliant as always and MM was in the wrong category due to idiocy from HBO, but still. Still pains me to remember that.

If you rooted for McConaughey, that’s fine. But the idea of someone losing to Cranston’s work being one of the worst snubs of all time seems very wrong to me.

Just remembered a huge one that I don’t think anyone’s mentioned.

Nick Offerman never even being nominated for Parks and Recreation. I even remember Ty Burrell said the year he won his first Emmy that Offerman should’ve won instead.

I think they’ve already been mentioned in this thread but Carrie Coon should have been nominated and won for the three seasons of The Leftovers. Nora is one, if not the most well written female character I’ve ever seen on TV. It’s a shame she never got recognized for that show.

Keri Russel should have won at least once for The Americans, especially for the last season. She was constantly impeccable.

Conchata Ferrell on Two and a Half Men – She breathed life into every scene that she was in. I wish that she had less appearances so that she would have qualified for Guest Actress in which she would have had a stronger chance to win. Conchata was nominated twice for Supporting Actress in 2005 and 2007 with 2007 having a good submission “Repeated Blows to His Unformed Head”

Community getting almost completely shut out from the Emmys, which likely played a role in all the problems Dan Harmon had with the executives. If the series managed to find awards success, they may have actually got off of his back and let him make the show the way he wanted to.
