Ive searched to see if this was already a forum. Nothing came up. So sorry if somebody already made this.

Who do you think is going to make the cut for Comedy Guest categories this year?

Here are people who I think are contenders to get nominated:
    Claire Danes-Master of None
    Larry David-SNL
    Amy Schumer-SNL
    Jane Kaczmarek-The Big Bang Theory
    Ray Liotta-Modern Family
    Lisa Kudrow-Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
    Angelica Huston-Transparent
    John Slattery-Veep
    Kyra Sedgwick-Brooklyn Nine Nine
    Bill Hader-B99
    Ellen Burstyn-Mom
    June Squibb-Mom
    Fred Armisen-Difficult People
    Seth Meyers-Difficult People
    Judy Greer-Mom
    Octavia Spencer-Mom
    Stephen Merchant-The Big Bang Theory
    Laurie Metcalfe-The Big Bang Theory
    Michael Rappaport-The Big Bang Theory
    June Squibb-The Big Bang Theory
    Bob Newhart-The Big Bang Theory
    Adam West-The Big Bang Theory
    Cherry Jones-Transparent
    Timothy Olyphant-The Grinder
    Jenifer Lewis-Blackish
    Wanda Sykes-Blackish

    Am I missing anyone?

    My predictions
    Best Guest Actress:
    Lisa Kudrow-Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
    Angelica Huston-Transparent
    Jenifer Lewis-Blackish
    Ellen Burstyn-Mom
    Amy Schumer-SNL
    Claire Danes-Master of None

    Best Guest Actor:
    Timothy Olyphant-The Grinder
    Bill Hader-Brooklyn 99
    John Slattery-Veep

    Stephen Merchant-TBBT
    Larry David-SNL

Julianne Moore is apparently on set for Inside Amy Schumer season 4, so I guess she could be a possible choice.

I didn’t know Lisa Kudrow was going to be on UKS, that’s interesting.

June Squib guest starred last night on TBBT as Sheldon’s Meemaw , but she wasn’t very memorable, it was still good.

I can see Squibb getting in for either Mom or TBBT. Im suprised she didnt get in for Girls a couple years ago considering she just received her first Oscar nom. So if she couldnt get in then, I dont know about now. And she could split votes in both categories

Give Paul Thomas Anderson an Oscar.

Will you open another thread for Drama-Guest performers or should we talk about them in here, also?

I never thought much of Rosie O’Donnell as an actress. I was wrong. I thought she was terrific in her guest spot on Mom.

One time I would be all for the Emmys going for big names in Guest more so than the performances some times would be this year for Comedy Guest Actress. Carrie Fisher in Catastrophe.

She is hilarious in every scene she is in, and stands at least some shot at a nod (or should be considered certainly). Could The Force Awakens help push her close to a nod? Films have pushed the likes of Schumer and McCarthy to Emmy wins in the past.

I feel like Saturday Night Live is going to dominate these categories and I don’t really like it.
