SAG isn’t going to suddenly warm to The Good Place for their last four episodes.

And loving Shalhoub’s performance isn’t a cross to bear, as he’s hysterical on that show and worthy of all the hardware he’s got for it.

I mean, I could see SAG giving The Good Place 2 or 3 noms because how weak the category will be (at least compared to other years).

Have a great day if you see this!

I hope The Good Place doesn’t win writing with its finale. Everything has been resolved in prior episodes and the finale was just every character saying goodbye to each other. It is nowhere near the first season finale.

Enough’s enough. NO SHOW, comedy or drama, since the Newhart series ender had the same visceral, WTF impact as the Good Place’s season 1 finale. So f’n tired of reading every post as how weak comedy is this season. It’s not. You just have to know where to look.

Comedy is definitely weak this year. That’s not to say that there aren’t some great contenders, but when you compare it the last couple of years, it’s so obviously empty. People love Schitt’s Creek and Maisel, but the latter’s season hasn’t inspired as much love as the one before, while the former would usually not even be close to being as big of a contender as it is now. Good Place and Curb are great shows, and while they definitely weren’t bad, they still had noticeably weaker seasons this time around. Dead to Me might’ve been a strong contender in other years as there’s definitely real passion for its current season, but pretty much every other series contender likely wouldn’t be taken seriously in most other years.

I can name at least 15 shows each year where their season finales were way better than TGP’s first season’s skjksf.

Sounds like you need to watch more shows.

I wonder if Louie Anderson will make a return in Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Baskets. Louie would be a deserving nominee and he had a great season. I know that Baskets was little seen throughout its run and was cancelled after the fourth season, but Louie did make it in for all 3 seasons while winning for the first season.

Zach Galifianakis also deserves to be considered as well as Martha Kelly, but I am doubtful of these two and think that Louie Anderson has the best shot at a nomination.

If you can’t disagree with someone’s opinion on this website without flying off the handle, maybe this website isn’t for you. Maybe the Internet isn’t for you. Take a walk.

Also, arguing that comedy isn’t weak this season on the basis of a single episode that aired in January 2017 is…a choice!

I’m sorry but why is this user still allowed to be here when he disrespects and call names other members when other people have been banned for way less?

With everyone arguing about The Good Place vs Maisel and Schitt’s Creek, I just wanna say…
