    HBO canceled Run: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/amp/live-feed/run-fleabag-duo-canceled-at-hbo-1302860

It was the worst show I’ve watched this season along with Truth Be Told. HBO made a right decision. Also the fact that Run is still above The Great and Wever is above Fanning is so weird.

I’m so tempted to remove Curb Your Enthusiasm and David from my predictions. I feel like people are over that show.

They won’t miss out with so little competition.

People still love the show. People aren’t forced to pretend they like the show e.g Schitt’s Creek.

I feel it’s quiet the opposite. It’s a been a popular quarantine show; still is a “cool” to watch; got SAG Ensemble & Actor last was eligible; it’s quality hasn’t dipped (if anything S10 was one of its strongest seasons); it’s competing in one of the weakest comedy years & it’s always gotten in since S2.

Let’s face it, thanks to the severe floppage of their new shows & the general no1curr-ness of Silicon Valley. HBO only really has Curb & Insecure this season.

Look, even The Good Place would be vulnerable “in a normal year.”  It was dropped this year by PGA, WGA, Critics’ Choice and the Golden Globes and it has never had DGA or SAG support anyway, but the field makes it a lock.

I might be the only one still thinking The Great isn’t happening anywhere

I’m still not confident about Ramy getting any major noms. I know it was picked up for a 3rd season, but I don’t know a single person who watches it.

Besides the Globe win and Mr. Ali joining the cast, I don’t see how the show is in that much of a better position than last year. There was no Guild support. It isn’t like Fleabag where it’s exploding with buzz, so why are a lot of people predicting it to go from zero noms last year to Comedy Series, Actor, Supp Actor, Writing and Directing this year??

I think it just aired too late to build a big enough audience and its subject matter doesn’t really have a broad appeal aswell. I also don’t see the buzz (not talking about critics) being there but maybe that’s just me. Also, I don’t think Hulu will suddenly get 2 Comedy Series in as I also predict Ramy, which is their priority. I think it’s possible the buzz grows thanks to Golden Globes noms etc. leading up to possible emmy noms for s2 (kinda like Ramy) but I just don’t see it happening this year.

I’m currently not predicting Ramy for series but I wouldn’t be shocked if it gets in since he won GG in front of many famous people who attended the ceremony. Some of them might be curious enough to check out the show.

For the very same reason I dropped Ramy, but what bugs me that last year Amazon was able to put both Maisel and Fleabag to the lineup.

What are people thinking for a comedy actor winner? I have the same issue predicting Eugene Levy for a win as I do with Bateman, the competition makes it look like they’re set up for a win but they’re also the cast member that fires up the least passion from the ensemble, and the Emmys reward MVPs, so I’m not feeling it, even if those shows may go on to win the other three categories. Danson is the next in line but the Good Place really feels like it peaked a year ago. Is Youssef a nomination-is-the-hurdle situation?
