She could if McKinnon and/or Gilpin miss. Although I think that is unlikely to happen. I agree it’s impossible that Rite Moreno gets nominated though.

There’s a lot more people than McKinnon and Gilpin in her way.

Quick question that I never asked: Does SAG voters overlaps with Emmys voters?

Extremely worthy Actresses of Colour that deserve Supporting Actress nominations:

Poorna Jagannathan, Never Have I Ever
    Jennifer Lewis, Blackish
    Yvonne Orji, Insecure
    Jameela Jamil, The Good Place
    Regina Hall, Black Monday
Rita Moreno, One Day at a Time
    Da’Vine Joy Randolph, High Fidelity
Natasha Rothwell, Insecure (However I would prefer Yvonne getting into Supporting Actress, and Natasha getting nominated for Comedy Writing for the Amazing “Lowkey Happy”!)

I think Yvonne is the only likely nominee of these women sadly.

Anticipating 11 acting nods for Mrs. Maisel Lead Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Supporting Actress, Supporting Actress, Guest Actor, Guest Actor, Guest Actor, Guest Actress

    I agree with this.

Although I think it’s unlikely to happen considering Amazon isn’t campaigning for them but I think it is possible that Sterling K Brown and Cary Elwes get nominated too considering how barren this category is.

FYC OSCARS : VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", AMANDA SEYFRIED FOR "MANK", CHADWICK BOSEMAN FOR "MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM", PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN (BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY).

I think the third supporting actor for Maisel is gonna be the actor who plays Shy, not Brown.

I cannot believe that you all led me astray with Sterling K. Brown and maybe The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel overall this year.  As I said in a slugfest a while ago (and for which we received an immediate complaint), at no point has anyone actually said that he is deserving; he is only in the conversation for other reasons.  But I recently caught up with the third season and he was outstanding!  I think that I actually enjoyed his performance more than any of you.  Both he and Leroy McClain are getting nominated and I cannot believe that hardly anyone is predicting the latter.  I was expecting the other barely to miss guest eligibility like Brown, but he was all over the season!  He only missed one episode, the season was revolved around him, he had a sympathetic story line about being closeted and he was frequently performed on stage.  What more do you want?  Michael Zegen was just more of the same.  He has no rooting factor, his material leaves something to be desired and he is not magnetic like Brown.  Kevin Pollak might even be more likely, given how Moishe is just Abe Lite.

I have Brown, McClain and Shalhoub getting in, so that sounds about right! I probably won’t get to the season until after the nominations have come out.

I don’t understand how Leroy McClain has the highest odds out of all the actors.

I do think we’re HEAVILY underestimating Caroline Aaron and Kevin Pollak.

I don’t understand how Leroy McClain has the least odds out of all the actors. I do think we’re HEAVILY underestimating Caroline Aaron and Kevin Pollak.

Pretty sure those two weren’t submitted.

Nope they’re on the ballot (at least Aaron is as she is at the top of the ballot).

I think just the same about these two. If voters are really watching the show I’d live for a Caroline nom. Loved seeing her name on the ballot

I think both were submitted by Amazon (they are included in the Amazon submissions article on Goldderby) but they weren’t being promoted by Amazon (in a similar way Sterling K Brown wasn’t).

If Brown was Guest he’d be winning wouldn’t he?

I think if Brown went guest, Eddie Murphy would win. Luke Kirby’s current internal competition won’t take away too many votes, but Brown gave a very Strong performance and had more to do than any of them, so he and Kirby probably would’ve split.
