Mark Snow appears to be the Roger Deakins (or should I use the term Greg P. Russell now because Deakins finally won one earlier this year?) of the Emmys, with 15 Emmy nominations for his music in television, mostly for The X-Files, but has yet to win one. What will it take for him to finally win an Emmy, and can he achieve the near impossible task of getting a nod for Blue Bloods or the 11th season of The X-Files and end up winning for either of those shows. The latter actually seems more unlikely to me since he got snubbed for season 10 of the show. What do you all think?

I know he isn’t getting nominated this year, realistically speaking. I just think it is quite an oversight he never won even once considering how often the Emmys liked to nominate him.
