The trailer for his new NBC comedy came out and he is hilarious in it. Depending on his placement, could Lithgow walk away with 2 Emmys this year? One for Drama Supporting Actor and one in the Comedy category?

He’s certainly in for The Crown, and probably the front-runner for the win. As for the NBC sitcom, I suppose a nomination is possible, though his last comedy with the network – Twenty Good Years, which paired him alongside Jeffrey Tambor – was a huge flop.
