THE SIMPSONS?! WTF? How did that happen? They nominated Bojack and then had the audacity to award The Simpsons over it. And why is Corden still being awarded? He has never been more than mediocre.
While Free Solo’s eligibility at the Emmys is a point of contention, I’m happy that it swept the way it did because I loved that doc.September 14, 2019 at 11:47 pm #1203075826
Paging @aayaanupadhyaya! I just cowered away from my Marie Kondo upset pick. You are the only other that I have seen with the prediction. Why?
Because I’m an idiot and like losing easy points -.-
Honestly though, I figured Kondo was the flavour of the month and that her nomination clearly indicated passion for her since she obviously couldnt have been a name-check. It made sense to predict her in the new system, but I realize Ru Paul was always winning so it was stupid to still predict Kondo.September 14, 2019 at 11:48 pm #1203075832
The Simpsons win is just bizarre.September 14, 2019 at 11:49 pm #1203075836
RuPaul is never gonna lose the Host Emmy. And Marie Kondo is a dull host to vote for. I bet they’ll snub her next year like they did with the Fab 5.September 14, 2019 at 11:55 pm #1203075849
LOL thanks for the shoutout in the vid today guys…yes, I agree I was the Meg of the group haha. Getting told to shut-up left and right by crazy Beyonce stans made my Saturday. 😉September 15, 2019 at 12:40 am #1203075901
I kinda wanted Who Do You Think You Are to win. Lisa Kudrow definitely deserves more recognition, and seeing her win her 2nd Emmy after 20 years would be so cool

Some nice winners and some headscratchers. Yay for Hannah Gadsby, Rachel Bloom finally winning something in Original Music & Lyrics, “Leaving Neverland,” “RBG” (though I was personally rooting for “Hale County This Morning, This Evening” and wish that had been the tie), “World of Dance” in Choreography, and as always, RuPaul for his fourth consecutive win in Reality Host! “The Simpsons” winning Animated Series genuinely shocked me. Like, really? Seth MacFarlane for Voiceover was expected. Angela Bassett or Liev Schreiber winning would have been fantastic in Narrator. “Queer Eye” is becoming a default force in its categories. I’m expecting the Fab Five to make the cut in Reality Host next year and give Ru a run for his money. Anthony Bourdain wins again for his final work. I’ve never watched “United Shades of America” before, but now I’m oddly curious about it. Guess voters don’t like Beyoncé. They could have thrown her a bone at least once, but voters can’t seem to get enough of “Carpool Karaoke.” I see that the television Academy will go out of its way to reward its storied past (the “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” event) despite how awful the actual current production was. Really on edge for the guest acting winners tonight!!!September 15, 2019 at 9:03 am #1203076517
Well lighting plus production design for the same SNL episode hosted by Mulaney probably means Mulaney is winning as guest. But THR fuck up says Kirby is winning it. Hmmmm.
There’s a separate thread about the Hollywood Reporter “leak.” It turns out that all of the Sunday night “winners” just happen to be the first names listed in the nomination list for each category. The only winner HR knows (and, ironically enough, is the one not listed) is Crazy Ex-Girlfriend for Scripted Series Choreography – because it has already been announced by the Academy.
