Phylicia Rashad was so fucking robbed! That loophole voting “The Handmaid’s Tale” just netted them two guest acting Emmys. Brilliant and sinister.

Whichever Handmaid’s Tale actress gets nominated for Guest Actress next year. I’m predicting her. No matter what

Fuck that. I was gonna root for her for Succession next year but not anymore.

Is it possible she’s got fans for Succession who wanted her to win an Emmy and voted for another performance? Cause I’m struggling to think of how the least popular nominated performance won.

Cherry Jones and Margo Martindale (for the Americans) winning – This is what happens when you let the masses vote.

We need to go back to panels, but a much larger number of voters in those panels in the past. Case closed.

I am very happy about all of the wins for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, even though I was really hoping for justice for Peter MacNicol, and hope it does well next Sunday too. Chernobyl really dominated over When They See Us and Fosse/Verdon, but it is more of a visual piece, so I guess it shouldn’t be that surprising. And I can’t believe that the orphaned Handmaid’s Tale episodes managed to get both guest acting Emmys.

Melisandre/Carice did not die and fall apart in the snow for this.

This has got to be one of the worst Emmy wins in decades.

Almost everyone on The Handmaid’s Tale has won an Emmy that just proves how much they don’t like Yvonne Strahovski.

Well, they might take up 4 slots.

Oscar FYC - Lupita Nyong'o & Elisabeth Moss ("Us") - Best Actress & Supporting Actress. It must happen; otherwise the Tethered are coming.

This has been a fucking day. Jojo Rabbit wins TIFF, Cherry Jones wins Guest Actress and GOT loses two of its most deserving tech awards? I deserve a whole week of sleep for this but tomorrow’s Monday lmao :/

FYC: Mary Kay Place in Diane
