    The way Schitt’s Creek was a non-event.

was there any category for it to win tho? specially with the mandalorian payola in half hour categories

How many Emmys did Watchmen have to win to set a record? It feels like it’s a real possibility

To surpass John Adams it’s 14, iirc.

Lol at people being shocked at THT’s production design win. I told you it was going to happen, but no one wanted to hear it. If you’ve seen Household, you know exactly why it won. The deserving winner in that category. Everyone keeps saying it’s done everywhere, but I always knew it wasn’t. Watch it snatch 2 more awards this year to tie its S2A and S2B winning totals.

I’m surprised Succession lost Production Design to THT, given it was able to over-come vote splitting and take editing. I know Mandalorian won a million awards, but Watchmen is the true winner of night 3, with that amazing editing win for the right episode.

Lol, The Handmaid’s Tale never lost production design. The Succession episode that was chosen was the finale which wasn’t even their best episode for that category. I’m surprised more people didn’t predict THT. Succession was never winning that.

The handmaid’s tale deserved that award.

The Handmaid’s Tale also deserves to win cinematography but it was robbed.

And it can only win 19 of its 26 noms max

I think some people were predicting Killing Eve…

I didn’t predict Killing Eve but so what if some people were? It’s not like anyone here predicted every single nomination this year correctly.

Congrats to The Handmaid’s Tale. It deservingly won but to say it was so obvious it was winning this category when it collapsed in nominations support is wrong.

FYC Emmys : THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, SUCCESSION AND THE CROWN IN ALL CATEGORIES. Tony Shalhoub ("Maisel"), Cate Blanchett ("Mrs. America"), Matthew Macfadyen, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook ("Succession"), Tracey Ullman ("Mrs. America") and Louis Gossett Jr. ("Watchmen")

The overreactions here, and the “big” creative awards weren’t even revealed yet

Watchmen is sweeping. I love it. It’s coming for that directing win!! That doesn’t mean it’s winning all its awards on Sunday though. I’ve fallen for that before.

Succession is obviously going to win drama series, but again, an editing win doesn’t mean it’s winning everything.

Are there any crafts categories left that Ozark still has a good chance of winning? It was still nominated for a ton in the first place, so people might be counting it out too quickly but that Editing loss did seem like a sign…
