If it’s December, tomorrow begins the 6th annual Arrowverse crossover event, featuring episodes of Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow. Additionally, events in the Black Lightning episode “The Book of Resistance: Chapter Four: Earth Crisis”, airing between Batwoman and The Flash, will also tie in to the arc.

“Crisis on Infinite Earths”, inspired by the DC Comics magnum opus of the same name from late 1985 to March 1986, continues plotlines created in last year’s crossover, “Elseworlds”. Moreover, the preceding episodes of Arrow season 8 and much of The Flash season 6 served as a prelude to the crossover.

    Night 1 – Supergirl

The Monitor sends Harbinger to gather Supergirl, The Flash, Green Arrow, Batwoman, White Canary, The Atom and Superman to deal with an impending Crisis. With their worlds in danger, J’onn and Alex have little choice but to recruit Lena Luthor to help them find a way to save Earth-38.

Do I need to have caught up with the shows in order to watch this? Or is it another aliens attack Earth all superheroes gather to beat it story for the 100th time?

a little more complicated than that. Multiple Earths means multiple supermans (tom welling and the one from the movie that isn’t cavill !!), etc. But in general yes

The schedule will see the first 3 parts of the story tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday. The concluding two parts will air January 14, 2020 with the return from hiatus of ‘Arrow’ and the season premiere of ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’.

So one major character bit the dust, and saved a billion or so folks on their way out. But will that be the only one who buys it?

    Night 2 – Batwoman

The group uses Ray’s invention to track new recruits to help save the universe. The Monitor dispatches Iris, Clark and Lois Lane in search of a mysterious Kryptonian, while Batwoman and Supergirl seek Bruce Wayne. Also, Mia challenges Sara, Rory discovers a hidden talent, and a mortal enemy of Clark and Kara returns.

Bruce Wayne – major heel. Whod’ve thunk THAT?

    Night 3 – The Flash

Pariah enlists Black Lightning to help stop the Anti-Monitor after Flash-90 shares what he learned from his battle. With Black Lightning’s aid, Barry, Cisco and Killer Frost come up with a plan that could save them all. Iris has a heart-to-heart with Ryan Choi while Oliver and Diggle return to a familiar stomping ground.

    Part 4 – Arrow

Stuck in the Vanishing Point, six of the Seven Paragons (Batwoman/Courage; Supergirl/Hope; Sara Lance/Destiny; Earth-96 Superman/Virtue, before he was offed by Lex Luthor; J’onn/Honor; and Ryan Choi/Humanity) search for a way out. Their futility is compounded by The Flash’s (the Paragon of Love) disappearance. However, hope arrives in the form of Oliver who reveals that he has become “something else”.

Conclusion – DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

Worlds have been spared, other worlds have perished. From now on, nothing will ever be the same. The final battle between the Anti-Monitor and the Paragons begins.
