Let’s see if Mark Ruffalo keeps his streak alive.

    Seriously no Michaela?

    Sigh.

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

My mind told me it would be Coel.

My heart told me it would be Blanchett.

My eyes just told me it was Taylor-Joy.

Yay Josh & Emma! Wonder if they will double-up everywhere? Globes, SAG, CC, and Emmy! That would be absolutely iconic!

Glad for Donald Sutherland finally winning something. Marielle Heller would have been by choice in supporting actress.

As much as I loved “The Queen’s Gambit,” Amya Taylor-Joy isn’t in the same league as Michaela Coel. She just isn’t.

    Boyega stopping the Ruffalo sweep.
    Whew.

    For Your Emmy Consideration:
Matthew Rhys for "Perry Mason" | Ethan Hawke for "The Good Lord Bird", THE GOOD LORD BIRD in ALL CATEGORIES | Elizabeth Olsen and Kathryn Hahn for "Wandavision" | Tobias Menzies for "The Crown" | MJ Rodriguez for "Pose" | Jane Levy for "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist"

Just compare the number of votes The Queen’s Gambit and I May Destroy have on IMDB. It’s hard to fight against that.

The way they just copied the Globe winners.

    This!

Also I’m glad I’m not the only fan of Heller’s performance on here! Happy for Uzo though. She was great.

I like that Small Axe is winning major acting awards, but I’m annoyed that Boyega is the acting ‘face’ of the series when there are several better performances across the 5 episodes.

I was resigned to Anya’s unfortunate sweep months ago so that didn’t shock me at all.

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)

Maybe they split? Anderson has the veteran and “most obvious acting” aspects of her performance going for her and Corrin has the novelty of delivering the most realistic Diana performance.

I don’t know even how to place the Small Axe actors
Yes, they might be leads in one “episode”, but it’s just that.
They vanished in the other 4.
