Not a fan of this at all, the later seasons already ruined this show, just let us remember season 4 and be done with it.
Feels like a clear attempt for Showtime to get a blockbuster back considering it’s not the prestige player it used to be.

Honestly, Season 8 is such a rough ending, and them bringing back one of the show’s original head writers. I say bring it on. If they manage to pull it off and give Dexter a satisfying send-off. That’s sound by me, and if they fail, who cares? The show’s legacy had already been somewhat tainted. I don’t have an issue with them bringing back that shows that had a disappointing ending.
