Split into two parts with 7 episodes apiece. It’s truly emulating BB. That Drama Series win is coming!

Emmys FYC - "Unbelievable" and "The Handmaid's Tale" in all categories; Viola Davis in Best Drama Actress for the final season of "HTGAWM;" "Ozark:" Drama Series, Laura Linney (Best Actress) and Julia Garner (Best Supporting Actress)

Weirdly, I feel confident in this lineup of Drama Supporting Actress, which some might consider outlandish. I can’t make a lineup for any other drama acting category though, it feels impossible.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTRESS IN A DRAMA SERIES
Bonham Carter, Dern, Dowd, Garner, Newton, Seehorn, Snook, Streep.

Yeah, McTeer is not missing. I actually just wrote an article about that. And both Yvonne and Ann are likely too – definitely more than Seehorn.

McTeer is a weird one because I personally consider her a lock but if she missed on nomination day I probably wouldn’t even notice at first.

McTeer is getting in for these two facial expressions alone

You’re not going to check off Garner, Bateman, Linney and Pelphrey but not her. Her role is way too important. Plus, she’s f*cking scary as Helen, who’s in the most shocking scene of the season.

Ozark has been renewed for a fourth and final season.

Oh wow, I didn’t think they’d have the maturity to not drag it. I think it’s the right time for it to end.

If Netflix loses Drama Series this year to HBO they should make sure The Crown is the only big Drama eligible next year and then make sure Ozark is the only big one eligible the following two years followed by the final season of The Crown the year after. That way it would make four consecutive Drama wins actually seem quite likely.

FYC Emmys : Jodie Comer ("Killing Eve"), Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials"), Russell Tovery ("Years and Years"), Helena Bonham Carter ("The Crown") & The Crown, His Dark Materials, Years and Years, Succession and The Affair in all categories. The Politician : Ben Platt, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bette Midler and Judith Light.

FYC Goldderby Awards : MAURA TIERNEY AND DOMINIC WEST FOR THE FINAL SEASON OF THE AFFAIR

I definitely feel like we will have a surprise like Gugu Mbatha-Raw in supporting actress.

McTeer could easily miss. She’s far from a lock. I don’t doubt a lot of voters will vote for all five Ozark players, but that doesn’t guarantee her nomination.

I don’t get saying this and then predicting Seehorn though McTeer is a bigger name on a show they actually like.

I said McTeer isn’t a lock. The same applies to Seehorn. I’m predicting her, but it doesn’t mean it will happen, same as others predicting McTeer.

I’m just surprised how McTeer here is perceived as a sure-fire lock.

The problem with both Dowd and Strahovski getting in is that The Handmaid’s Tale is not that strong anymore to occupy two slots in a supporting category. You could say the same for Dern and Streep but theirs is a different case, like Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda both getting in.
