I really do think The Crown is going to underperform, while Succession and Ozark overperform.

I am wondering if there is the possibility for Succession to get Cox, Strong, Culkin and MacFayden (or Braun) but not Snook, sort of Fleabag style last year with Clifford and Colman getting in but not Scott due to Barry was hogging the category. It’s not that supporting actor isn’t competitive, but it just feels more fluid (like Giancarlo Esposito could honestly be in either 4th or like 13th) meanwhile it’s hard to imagine snubs for any of HBC, Streep, Dern and Garner nominations, which puts Snook in fifth at best. Bringing this up because I think Succession could miss Snook and still win series

I actually think Macfadyen could be the one left out. If it does extremely well, on the other hand, Smith-Cameron could get a coattail nomination.

Smith-Cameron isn’t going to be nominated for such a secondary role in a crowded field.

I actually think people are understimating him. I think Culkin is being way overstimated and tbh I think he’ll get snubbed. His performance his not very dramatic and Macfadyen was much better than him (material and performance wise).

Yeah Matthew Mcfadyen would be such a perfect and unique nominee.

I did say “if it does extremely well”.

I’d be disappointed if Macfadyen and Snook were the two snubbed when they’re two of the most consistently strong performers.

I think Holly Hunter is way more likely than Smith-Cameron

I’m of the belief that even if Succession does extremely well, only Snook can make it. The other women are great, but they don’t have enough material to make it.

I also agree with the idea of Macfadyen being ahead of Culkin. His performance is much more awards baity and dramatic, and he seems to have emerged as the favorite of the supporting men.
