I wonder if Rhea Seehorn might have gotten nominated last year had Saul aired later. I keep thinking about Saul’s SAG ensemble nomination and what confuses me is how it managed to get in at SAG over Westworld. I think I’ve come to the conclusion that the show is on the up at the Emmys whilst Westworld is on the down. I mean when you think about it the show did go from 2 to 4 acting nominations and dismissed the theory that voters are only name checking it because of Breaking Bad as Michael McKean got nominated.

I’m so torn with the last two slots in Supporting Actress. I keep switching between Brown, Dowd, Mbatha-Raw, Newton, Seehorn and Snook for the final two slots. I don’t think Shaw happens unless Comer gets nominated and I don’t see Dowd happening without Strahovski, Brown without Harbour or Snook without Strong AND Cox.

Well, I’m confident in Seehorn, but I know is a tricky prediction so I’m gonna leave you to decide.

Snook, on the other hand, is close to be a “lock” at this point, IMO. She’s almost a lead in a series frontrunner. I think she’s pretty safe and you should definitely put her in.

I love it, I love it, I love it, but I also have my problems with it.

Nicole Kidman is amazing in Moulin Rouge!

I wouldn’t call Snook a lock at all she could get snubbed with the competition in that category.

Snook isn’t a lock. Cox is the series’s only lock.

However, Snook will be competitive for the win if she’s nominated.

Okay, so I just finished Season 2 of Succession. I know this isn’t exactly what people want to hear, but I do think Cox and Strong may vote split if both are nominated. I know there’s the Killing Eve defense with what happened last year with Oh vs Comer and Comer won but Comer also had a much better season than Oh. The defense for Oh winning last year was purely based on her love from other academy members, not on her performance. Jeremy Strong and Brian Cox both gave award-winning performances in season 2. Both extremely strong performances. I think a vote split here is very possible. Also, IMO Matthew Macfadyen honestly deserves SA over Keiran Culkin. That finale secured his place for me. Writing is obviously a lock.

Since almost everyone has seen season 2 of Succession, which episodes do you guys think the cast should submit?! (I’m not counting guest performances).

    My personal choices would be:

    • Brian Cox – “Hunting”
    • Jeremy Strong – “This Is Not For Tears”
    • Sarah Snook – “Tern Haven”
    • Matthew Macfadyen – “Safe Room”
    • Kieran Culkin – “DC”
    • Holly Hunter – “Return”
    • J. Smith-Cameron – “Hunting”
    • Hiam Abbass – “Dundee”
    • Nicholas Braun – “Dundee” (?)
    • Alan Ruck – “This Is Not For Tears” (?)

I know not everyone will get in but it’s fun do this game 😁🤭

Yeah, I shouldn’t had use the word “lock”. She’s more of a safe choice right now.

    Cox isn’t a lock either.
