They deserve a nomination in the interactive field next year for this.

That is SO cool! But how dare they give Space Force a door but not Unbelievable.

August 13, 2020 at 2:11 pm #1203644275To be fair on them though why would anyone want to explore the harrowing and dismally realistic world of Unbelievable? I do agree Space Force shouldn’t have a door though.

RIP HBO lol.

Has anyone seen Catherine O’Hara campaigning post nominations? I haven’t and I’m actually quite worried because everyone else in her category minus the Dead to Me women seem to be campaigning far more than her this year.

Amazon Prime is having a Maisel event in LA from August 20th-23rd. It’s a drive-in screening event. Good god, Amazon knows how to campaign.

I’ve been saying this for a while but we’re really underestimating the show across the board here. It may have missed out on Writing but it still got 20 Emmy nominations and even when counting the ballots of 200 Goldderby users for the Goldderby awards Alex Borstein and the show are 2nd here (above two time winner D’Arcy Carden) and this forum doesn’t like Maisel that much at all!
I mean people came at me for saying Succession would get 7 acting nominations and Schitt’s would get 4…

August 13, 2020 at 6:16 pm #1203644788That’s the one I meant to post. Thanks.
RIP HBO lol.
HBO’s always been pretty terrible when it came to campaigning.
ReplyCopy URLAugust 13, 2020 at 6:27 pm #1203644794If you’re not going to put in the links and references to the Gold Derby interviews done this season (we’ve had over 450), this thread is going away. Within the industry, we are one of the primary destinations for contenders to do interviews. That’s why we get so many of them, top names included.

ReplyCopy URLAugust 13, 2020 at 6:39 pm #1203644802I think the reason why the Gold Derby interviews are not here is because we all already know about them. This thread is more to shine a light in campaigns we are not necessarily aware of.
