After receiving 4 this year, Amy Poehler now has 22 Emmy nominations (20 @ the Primetime Emmys) without winning. Jon Hamm now has 16 nods w/o winning.
Jon Hamm now ties the record at 8 (w/ Peter Falk, Raymond Burr, and Dennis Franz) for most nominations in the Drama Lead Actor category.
I wonder what the record for most years between series nominations is. Parks and Rec was last nominated for a season that ran in the 2010-2011 TV season…July 16, 2015 at 10:37 am #353693

Also you can add Julianna Marguiles and Jim Parsons to the list of people snubbed right after winning.July 16, 2015 at 12:22 pm #353699
Ugh, just imagine if Margulies was snubbed in favor of Moss last season instead. Moss would’ve gotten to submit The Strategy, one of her best tapes ever.
Now she has…Time and Life or Lost Horizon, which are passable at best as Lead tapes, though she is great as always in them.July 16, 2015 at 12:42 pm #353700
Tina Fey extends lead as most nominated Actress with 36 nominations.
According to IMDB, Fey had 34 previous nominations. Despite what the Emmy website says today (giving her 3 nods for this year), that will actually be 5 more when they update (one for producing ‘UKS’ and one for hosting Golden Globes). That makes her total 39, correct?July 16, 2015 at 12:49 pm #353701
Is 24 nominations a new record in the Drama Series race? The most nominations I can remember is 23 (Six Feet Under, 2002).July 16, 2015 at 12:51 pm #353702
I believe there is no other show with 3 writing noms and 0 Series noms besides Episodes, which now has 4.
The other Comedies with 4 writing noms without a Series win are similarly cable shows centered around one dude – Larry, Louie.
