Emmys 2018 – Lead and Supporting Actor Drama

I know people talked about it in the other thread but I wanted a separate one. Hope it doesn’t bother anyone!

Lead Actor:
Sterling K. Brown (TIU)
Milo Ventimiglia (TIU)
Jason Bateman (Ozark)
Liev Schreiber (Ray Donavan) ?
Freddie Highmore (The Good Doctor)
Matthew Rhys (The Americans)
Rami Malek (Mr. Robot)

These are not my guesses but all possibilities. Sterling is a lock IMO, hopefully Milo is as well. I am praying that Freddie gets in, he deserves it so much!! I just want someone besides Sterling to win. He has won enough now and he isn’t doing much in season 2. Milo has much more to do and he’s doing it beautifully. If Kit goes lead, he could make it in as well.

This category is very open this year. I think Peter and David are the only locks. Noah deserves to make it in, he was the best part of season 2 IMO. The others are just wild guesses. Justin Hartley has “the” episode (2×08) and he deserves this nomination. My dream would be Alfie Allen for GoT, he’s so damn underrated.

Liev Schrieber definitely deserves to win a big award for Ray Donovan, hopefully he gets the Emmy this year. But I could totally see them giving Brown a third consecutive Emmy, rightly or wrongly.
