Good choice. I wouldve submitted the season premiere but she was also very good in the finale. Just those final minutes…August 12, 2020 at 1:09 pm #1203642138
She was also good in the second episode. She gets drunk and grieves a major character. It’s a very baity performance. This is still a good choice though.August 12, 2020 at 1:33 pm #1203642185August 12, 2020 at 1:41 pm #1203642202

What We Do in the Shadows nailed it! Those are the six funniest episodes of the season.
Big fan of Better Call Saul, Sex Education, Barry, BoJack Horseman, and, especially, SurvivorAugust 12, 2020 at 2:21 pm #1203642291
Hmmm…I still feel like Oh’s best chance would be to submit an episode where her character doesn’t have a lot of interaction with Comer/Villanelle. (I understand they are great together but this is strictly for awards strategy). Plus, she submitted the finale last year and it didn’t work…
I didn’t love the premiere (pacing and plot-wise), but remember thinking that “Still Got It” would be a good submisison for her. I’d have to rewatch though. That was the episode where each character got 10 minutes of solo screentime and where she gets the birthday cake and goes to visit Nico at the end. Not very baity but I remmeber her being very good.
Unfortunately, I think Season 1 was her best chance at winning and it’s a shame she didn’t.August 12, 2020 at 2:34 pm #1203642317August 12, 2020 at 2:39 pm #1203642336
The Crown and Killing Eve submitted exactly like I predicted.
Succession submitting ‘Vaulter’ instead of ‘Safe Room’, ‘Argestes’ or ‘Dundee’ is…a choice. And one that I hate.
What the f*** happened with The Handmaid’s Tale???!!! Absolutely horrible submissions. ‘Unfit’, ‘Heroic’ and ‘Sacrifice’?! Where is ‘God Bless the Child’, ‘Bear Witness’ and ‘Liars’???!!! This is show is DEAD!!!August 12, 2020 at 2:42 pm #1203642348
Better Call Saul did perfect. It had to be any of the first five + the final five.
The Crown did as expected but I would have chosen “Dandling Man” instead of “Moondust”. They did what Ozark did last year, went with the WGA nominee, despite not being exactly the best choice.
No “Liars” from Handmaid’s? For crying out loud, what happened here? I can’t believe they chose “Heroic” instead. They wanna make voters take a nice nap or win this race? Ugh. Whatever.
Whatever Killing Eve submitted alongside Jodie’s tape and the finale would be alright.
I still need to watch The Mandalorian.
Ozark did better than last time. I would have chosen “Boss Fight” instead of the premiere. In my opinion, is in this episode that the show start to become outstanding drama series worthy.
Stranger Things should have chosen the 6 final episodes. The premiere was alright, but it was after the third episode that things started to get great.
Succession messed up. Of course all episodes were great, but “Safe Room”, “Argestes” and “Dundee” would have been better options than the first two episodes.
It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!August 12, 2020 at 2:42 pm #1203642350
Succession and Ozark wow such strong seasons for both shows. But I would choose “Argestes” over “The Vaulter” and “Civil Union” over “Su Casa Es Mi Casa”.August 12, 2020 at 2:44 pm #1203642355
The Handmaid’s Tale just dug their own grave.August 12, 2020 at 2:47 pm #1203642365
I’m waiting for Luca’s meltdown when he sees what Handmaid’s Tale did!

Me looking through The Handmaid’s Tale’s submissions:
This is a MESS. In true June fashion, “What the actual fuck?” Unfit, Heroic and Sacrifice?? Where are Night and Liars (!!!!)? One or both of Useful and God Bless the Child would have been fine too!! My eyes are bleeding.
(But P.S.: Let’s pls. not pretend like these submissions matter at all.)
