Best Supporting actor just became the most interesting race. Frontrunner Pelphrey is not here. 2nd place Jonathan Banks… also not here. That leads us to Billy Crudup, but now vote splitting with Mark Duplass could hurt him. Succession obviously has the most support, but will they reach a consensus between their three nominees? Esposito suddenly looks like a threat despite having nothing to do this season.

Esposito finally have a chance of winning after all these time omg

It’s my first time being here during Emmy season. It’s kinda like a bomb has gone off. Is it always this crazy?

Giancarlo Esposito as the only acting nomination for Better Call Saul… when Odenkirk, Seehorn, AND Banks (not to mention Tony Dalton) are all at their A+ game, and I genuinely remember maybe one thing that Gus did this entire season. I’m so genuinely confused by this.

Gotta be Succession. The Crown underperformed.

Laura Linney stans should be scared. Ozark kinda underperformed in acting while The Morning Show slayed.

I actually think she’s gonna stand out even more now when people watch the episodes.

So Killing Eve would have been nominated in writing if they had not over-submitted. Just going to ponder that for a moment.

Who’s watching the episodes because voters certainly aren’t.

I absolutely adore Esposito, but this just feels so wrong.

Anyway, I think I’m gonna predict Snook to win again. They really went for Succession, and The Croen underperformed big time.

For the people who were trying to make Rhea happen and drag Thandie:

There is literally no way you couldn’t argue filler for that show at this point lmaodksjdk.

Drama series was so empty last year, I was so excited to see what would happen this year with so many viable contenders. And then it happened.

Not even getting to all the specifics like Seehorn’s repeated snubs or Wiley’s nomination over Dowd and Strahovski, it looks like they just watched a handful of shows and often went all in for the ones they liked whether it was right or not. Succession cleared out both directing nominations, and it got two actors in a field of six as well as three in a field of eight. Ozark got all three of its episodes in for writing, and two for directing. Another two for directing went to The Crown. It just really looks like they phoned it in this time around.

Remember when people said Snook was nowhere near a nomination never mind the win and called those of us predicting her for the win delusional?
