If Waddingham does go Lead and Temple gets nominated in for Supporting Actress, I don’t see the Academy voting her over Rudolph. Based on her Emmy win this year and the amount of coverage SNL has because from the election, I feel like the Academy won’t miss their chance to reward Rudolph again. I want Temple to win, but I just don’t think it’s very likely. Also Goldstein is definitely gonna be the biggest push for Supporting actor when it comes to Ted Lasso, and I do think he’ll get nominated. Especially since the category is already super barren.
FYC Oscars: Soul (Best Picture, Original Screenplay, and Original Score), Delroy Lindo (Best Actor), Chadwick Boseman (Best Actor), Viola Davis (Best Actress), Paul Raci (Best Supporting Actor)
FYC Golden Globes (TV): Ted Lasso (Best Comedy Series), Jason Sudekis (Best Actor in a Comedy Series), Hannah Waddingham (Best Supporting Actress), The Boys (Best Drama Series), Anthony Starr (Best Actor in a Drama Series)
November 23, 2020 at 4:04 pm #1203858859On the Verge just wrapped filming today so expect it to air on Netflix in the spring. Written by Oscar nominee Julie Delpy and starring Delpy and Oscar nominee Elisabeth Shue there is potential for Emmy 2021 buzz in the comedy categories.
(On a side note Shue is supposed to appear in Cobra Kai this January and was just seen on Amazon’s The Boys so she should have some buzz as On the Verge airs).

Even though I’m so behind I can not stress enough how good and underrated Search Party is. I hope the new season brings the much deserved buzz it needs.

November 24, 2020 at 12:28 pm #1203866362At this point I have to ask does Janney even have any chance at getting back in? People were previously thinking she’s probably getting back in but I wonder if she’ll even be in the top 15 next year. That Actress field still seems competitive.

Not a big fan of the trailer, though this can easily make it in considering the lack of contenders.

Her son is a recent college graduate? God I know the industry is ageist as **** but Riley’s only 34 so at youngest possible age her son in this is 22/23.

In one ep it will be revealed that her son is actually Sheldon Cooper who graduated from college at the age of 14.
