Limited series shouldn’t be allowed to compete at drama or comedy category if they are not returning for a second season.

    She looks great

FYC Emmys: Get MJ Rodriguez that deserved WIN! And some votes for Elizabeth Olsen, Tobias Menzies and Matthew Rhys will be highly tasteful as well

It’s difficult for Jean Smart to be bad these days on television. Truly versatile.

FYC: Together in all categories (Actress – Sharon Horgan, Actor – James McAvoy, Original Screenplay), Shiva Baby (Adapted Screenplay, Score), CODA (in all categories esp. S. Actor – Troy Kotsur), Zola (S. Actress – Riley Keough), Together Together (Original Screenplay), The Sparks Brothers (Documentary Feature), Summer of Soul (Documentary Feature)

It’s so sad that her husband has recently passed.

That EW article and these press shots have really got me looking forward to this. I think it could be something special, and no doubt Jean will be enthralling in it.

    FYC: Cecily! MJ! Maya! Winslet!

Supporting submissions need to fall only three percent for us to lose the eighth slots.

Considering how Netflix for example seems to be submitting almost every main cast member from their shows (see The Politician or Bridgerton‘s suubmission lists on their FYC site), I think we will probably see around 7 slots in supporting this year.

Watch how there’s somehow a tie in supporting actress that causes 8 nominees for the 4th year in a row lol.

FYC: Together in all categories (Actress – Sharon Horgan, Actor – James McAvoy, Original Screenplay), Shiva Baby (Adapted Screenplay, Score), CODA (in all categories esp. S. Actor – Troy Kotsur), Zola (S. Actress – Riley Keough), Together Together (Original Screenplay), The Sparks Brothers (Documentary Feature), Summer of Soul (Documentary Feature)

    Fingers crossed it happens.

Honestly, if in this field we don’t get a Sex Education overperformance this year, I’ll probably skip the Emmys.

Mark McKinney for Superstore should finally be recognised. His creation of Glenn should be considered one of the best tv characters ever, up there with Moira Rose.

Netflix have updated their FYC page with The Kominsky Method!

    Things of note:

    – Jane Seymour, Christine Ebersole, Morgan Freeman and Barry Levinson will be guest eligible.

    – There are two submissions for Directing. “Chapter 17: In All The Old Familiar Places” by Chuck Lorre and “Chapter 20: The Round Toes of the High Shoes” by Beth McCarthy-Miller.

    – “Chapter 17: In All The Old Familiar Places” is also Lorre’s writing submission.

    – Lisa Edelstein and Haley Joel Osment have been bumped up to supporting.

Special has also been submitted in comedy series.

FYC: Together in all categories (Actress – Sharon Horgan, Actor – James McAvoy, Original Screenplay), Shiva Baby (Adapted Screenplay, Score), CODA (in all categories esp. S. Actor – Troy Kotsur), Zola (S. Actress – Riley Keough), Together Together (Original Screenplay), The Sparks Brothers (Documentary Feature), Summer of Soul (Documentary Feature)

“Hacks” looks amazing! Too bad it is not debuting in the eligibility period this year. Can Mary McDonnell also star so we can get a “High Society” reunion?

Who says “Hacks” isn’t premiering in time? I’m getting interview requests and starting to schedule various people involved, so unless something changes it will be released in time.
