Schitt’s really had an amazing run in this final season <3
Ted Lasso is gonna do really great at the Emmys.
Also, which guilds/awards has already The Mandalorian won?April 17, 2021 at 12:44 pm #1204205716

The way The Mandalorian has been tanking hard with the Guilds. Anyone entertaining the idea of a possible upset over The Crown, well…April 17, 2021 at 2:01 pm #1204206043
I got Chicago 7 right on the film side, but bombed on the TV side. Couldn’t be happier for Better Call Saul’s win, but it surprised me they didn’t go with two-time ACE winner Killing Eve. Not sure why the support for The Mandalorian is fading, though. It seemed to be doing well. I was also pretty sure they won’t default to Schitt’s Creek, but they did. The most interesting win is Ted Lasso overcoming vote-splitting and defeating the Emmy winner. And The Queen’s Gambit is indeed unbeatable. I’m wondering if the passion will disappear before the Emmys.April 17, 2021 at 6:02 pm #1204206520
The Queen’s Gambit just won Cinema Audio Society for Sound Mixing. I mean, it will win Cinematography tomorrow and have a perfect track record of 1 win at all guilds. Has this ever happened before?
The only places TQG lost were SAG (actor), CC (supporting actress) and that Make-Up Award (or was a Hairstyling one) at the Guild. WOW, I mean, WOW!April 17, 2021 at 7:47 pm #1204206598
I can really see WandaVision pulling a Watchmen and just absolutely slaying the Creative Arts Awards (at least getting a BUNCH of noms) – between music, effects, costumes, main title, I expect WV to do very well here.April 17, 2021 at 9:26 pm #1204206673

My guess is that WV and TQG will battle it out during the creative arts emmy’s. hard to tell because I don’t assume WV wasn’t eligible due to its release.

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")April 18, 2021 at 10:30 am #1204207335
It’s a good series but nowhere near the quality of Breaking Bad so this is..
This year is also worse than 2013 (in every aspect, especially in TV industry). Guilds cannot help themselves when what they’re served are only a few successful series. One can only hope for the next half of the year.
