ASC Award for One-Hour Non-Commercial Television: “Imbroglio”, The Crown

Plsssss the absolute random. Not “Fairytale” losing to a random episode from season 3. Hopefully this shows Netflix “The Balmoral Test” is the superior girl in Cinematography.

To be fair, Imbroglio had that iconic shot

ASC Award for Motion Picture, Miniseries, or Pilot Made for Television: “End Game”, The Queen’s Gambit

When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept, for there were no more guilds to conquer.

Heh, I knew exactly what location they would use for this episode’s clip.

TQG winning all this stuff over Watchmen (and in general) is utterly ridiculous.

Has TQG won something at every guild now?

    FYC:

Best Screenplay: Never Rarely Sometimes Always (Eliza Hitman)
Best Actress: Sidney Flanigan ("Never Rarely Sometimes Always")

    Yes.

In fact, the only times it was nominated for a guild award but didn’t win were Camp at SAG and the hairstyling category at the MHSG.

Not me having Maisel first thinking “Imbroglio” would steal too many votes from “Fairytale” and split The Crown vote and then Imbroglio goes and wins this whole thing lol.

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

    Yes.

In fact, the only times it was nominated for a guild award but didn’t win were Camp at SAG and the hairstyling category at the MHSG.

The only two Guilds it lost were a non-Emmy eligible performance (Ruffalo) and a show competing in Drama (Bridgerton).

Beth Harmon is both the unstoppable force and the unmovable object.

Emmys FYC | Alan Tudyk in “Resident Alien” | Billie Piper in “I Hate Suzie” | Ego Nwodim in “Saturday Night Live” | Kaley Cuoco in “Harley Quinn” | “Dickinson” | “P-Valley” | “Pose” | “Superstore”

Wow, even Angels in America couldn’t sweep up cinematography.

(and per imdb, over in another genre nor did Breaking Bad or Sopranos.)
