Natalia Dyer has stated fans will have to wait “a while” for season 4 of Stranger Things despite filming having resumed.

Assuming this means it’s missing eligibility because the show was originally scheduled to return for a Spring premiere.

I don’t watch the show but if voters decide to go and vote for something different instead of the shows they’ve dropped (PoseThis is Us) in Series or we really have an empty field could it be possible that Peaky Blinders sneaks into the Series line-up.

To me it feels like its a show that is only growing internationally and the fact it has managed to sneak in at the below the line guilds recently (sometimes as filler) like ASC and MPSE. In fact if a post The Queen’s Gambit Anya Taylor-Joy for example is in this new season I wonder if it will result in the show being more widely seen.

It is set to start shooting in two weeks and considering it only has 6 episodes to film it might be able to squeak the deadline even if there is another lockdown.

FYC OSCARS : VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", AMANDA SEYFRIED FOR "MANK", CHADWICK BOSEMAN FOR "MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM", PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN (BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY).

Ripley (Showtime) will start production in this Fall. It’s the adaptation of the novels by Patricia Highsmith and starring Andrew Scott.

Amazon buys thriller drama Tell Me Your Secrets starring Lily Rabe and Amy Brenneman for 2021. The show was originally going to air on TNT. Time for both of these ladies to get their dues.

    Just a thought

Are we really sure that Crown is taking the drama prize? I would not underestimate The Mandalorian duo to the immense craft support they’ve gotten

I wouldn’t underestimate The Mandalorian slipping into maybe writing and directing but the reason why I think a lot of us think it’s ahead is because The Crown is likelier to perform better at the winter awards and is the show that is the likeliest to have all four of acting, craft, directing and writing support.

Yes, this is true, Mandalorian has zero acting support so far, but I do see it maybe doing a Game of Thrones early season 5, I think it’s a second for now.

The critics for the sophomore season come out tomorrow, let’s see how it does then.

But Mandalorian winning is my worst nightmare, God, this show is so overestimated.

They are probably filming right now, they shut down a few days ago after a positive covid test, but they came back on the next day

And they had some eps ready before lockdown, so it’s probably arriving on time.

Yep and they already have an episode in the can.

At least one of this or The Nevers will air this Spring.

Yeah unless this season is a complete dud it is ahead of The Handmaid’s TaleThis is Us and Pose. Although This is Us doing well next year should not be counted out. Mandy Moore might end up being third next year (after Aniston and Colman) for all we know.

This is us had the most perfect premiere ever, I would love to see it winning again, it’s time for Philycia to take her overdue win.

Also, it’s shocking that Ron won again this year.
