I had Ingram for some time. Sad I wasn’t brave enough to keep her.
Marielle Heller and Camp being only at the beginning of the show really hurt their chances.

July 13, 2021 at 9:28 am #1204342512There’s nothing shameless about Boyega snub. he was a name-check by HFPA, not the best thing on his show. And that’s before larger industry found out that he was a massive douche. Also, Small Axe was a complete flop with Guilds so Emmys shut out was expected. I was saying this for quite some time but defenders put too much stock in McQueen’s name. Why would Emmys pay attention to it when not a single Guild did?
Anyway, yes I came here to gloat over Boyega’s snub but the rest of noms are pretty good and big HURRAY for Evan Peters!
July 13, 2021 at 9:29 am #1204342522Not me saying Supporting Actor is between Camp and Boyega and they both missed 💀
Focusing on my favourite show still in the race, I think IMDY performed really well despite the Opia snub. It got the second directing nomination which underlines its strength with different branches, and it still got Paapa in. I’m confident that it will win something above the line.

I think Michaela is still in the race for limited/movie actress and this is a hill I’m willing to die on.
July 13, 2021 at 9:35 am #1204342592The saddest thing is that this is the best Limited Series ever, in my opinion. But, the acting categories, sans Actress, were ruined by something I love but shouldn’t have been here.
Big fan of Better Call Saul, Sex Education, Barry, BoJack Horseman, and, especially, Survivor
July 13, 2021 at 9:36 am #1204342599I’m still shocked at WandaVision getting three writing noms.

She absolutely is still in the race. There is clearly so much industry support for her.

July 13, 2021 at 9:38 am #1204342630Nothing is locked for the win in these categories and these nominations prove that.
But it’s also what makes it exciting. Bring on the opening of the predictions centre!
July 13, 2021 at 9:39 am #1204342637Hamilton is a poster for overperformance that goes home empty-handed.

I really hope an incoming backlash ensures it goes home empty handed. After robbing noms from deserving candidates,I can’t stand it robbing the wins from them.

~Currently watching Abbott ElementaryJuly 13, 2021 at 9:40 am #1204342658It’s weird but I think it’s Diggs vs Peters in supporting actor.
I have no idea what to predict here, but I’m going with Diggs after that unexpected SAG nom.
