    Sian Clifford = Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Ik PWB created the show but Clifford is exceptional and should be getting the same attention

    GIVE LENA HEADEY HER EMMY

This year’s comedy series nominees and TCA’s are exactly same.

Homecoming got jobbed…should’ve had series, Roberts and Cannavale. Maybe there was an amount of Good Wife fatigue and that spread to Good Fight.

I know it’s been a few days, but I still can’t believe how good these comedy nominations are. The Barry supporting noms, Applegate, The Good Place and its Writing nomination, and Fleabag domination were too good to be true, that I failed to predict many of them even if their odds weren’t terrible. But Schitt’s Creek was so awesome and such a shock that I still can’t believe it. I honestly wouldn’t mind any comedy Series winning outside of surprisingly Veep, as I see it as the least deserving nominee. (I haven’t watched Maisel, but I appreciated the first few episodes and it deserves the win, but I’d prefer a new winner this year.)

Big fan of Better Call Saul, Sex Education, Barry, BoJack Horseman, and, especially, Survivor

Imagine Olivia Colman winning for Fleabag, probably being even more shocked than at the Oscars, and giving us another iconic speech.

Emmy voters must bend the knee to Lena Headey & Emilia Clarke for "Game of Thrones." It's their last chance to award them. Make it happen.

^^I don’t think she will for “Fleabag” although I would be happy if she did. Ultimately I think we all know that if Claire Foy was able to prevail last year in a super-competitive field, then Olivia should be a frontrunner next year for “The Queen”, ekhm… sorry, “The Crown”.

Wrong thread for those shows. Those are dramas, not comedies.

And people think I’m a “stan” for The Good Place? Where did that term come from, btw? Now THIS is stanning and slurping on a colossal scale for Queen PWB: https://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/tv/ct-ent-emmys-phoebe-waller-bridge-fleabag-20190718-poxw4qkhlrcftibugdhrcafecq-story.html

No; I don’t want blink and you miss it TV honored under ANY circumstances. Emmys can’t be seriously thinking giving its comedy series trophy to a show of such brevity. GoT; they were shoehorned into 6 episodes. That’s one thing. It’s quite the other when a show VOLUNTEERS to be so brief.

I’m sure you’ll be sending this same message to jjjmoss, too. Since he brought it up to begin with.

    Thankee.

Anyone else think The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is going to pull a Game of Thrones season 7 and just win Series and Supporting Actor?

Anyone else think The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is going to pull a Game of Thrones season 5 and just win Series and Supporting Actor?

Before nominations I was very sure Mrs Maisel was winning, after that I think Barry is much more stronger.

Just started binging Schitt’s Creek yesterday and I am absolutely loving it! Any chance the show or the leads may have a chance? I’m only on season 1 so I have a ways to go, but this schitt is laugh-out-loud funny!

If you’re only on S1 and already loving it you’re going to be obsessed as that’s the worst season of the five
