Game of Thrones can lose casting like it did last year and still win. Veep cannot win casting both because it is so old and because it no longer has the support of the directors’ branch. That last thing is part of why I am not really considering it for series, but if you are one of the people who is predicting it for series, then you have already discounted its directing snub and thus should not put stock into its casting loss.September 10, 2019 at 12:19 pm #1203067904This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.September 10, 2019 at 12:24 pm #1203067909
Lead Actress clips
- Julia Louis-Dreyfus
- Phoebe Waller-Bridge
- Natasha Lyonne
- Catherine O’Hara
- Rachel Brosnahan
- Christina Applegate
The first 3 are interchangeable though, because all three were terrific.
Emmys FYC - "Unbelievable" and "The Handmaid's Tale" in all categories; Viola Davis in Best Drama Actress for the final season of "HTGAWM;" "Ozark:" Drama Series, Laura Linney (Best Actress) and Julia Garner (Best Supporting Actress)September 10, 2019 at 12:26 pm #1203067918This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.September 10, 2019 at 12:32 pm #1203067927
Really great clips except for Applegate, but everyone says she’s great so I’m just assuming she got screwed over here. This category is full of winners.September 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm #1203067983
PWB’s performance on Fleabag is a product of directing, editing and writing. Julia L-D is the one who deserves to win! And you’ll see, she won’t be taken down by inferior actressesSeptember 10, 2019 at 1:02 pm #1203067990
- Louis-Dreyfus (that clip was undeniable and pure-perfection)
- Applegate (ugh Cardellini was robbed)
“No user starts this shady” - someone culturally relevant.
Also got banned because...reasons? So, I guess ciao.September 10, 2019 at 1:39 pm #1203068047
1. Julia Louis-Dreyfus (duh)
2. Phoebe Waller Bridge (She makes it look easy when it really isn’t. I also disagree with the consensus on her submission; she was great in it and it doesn’t hurt that it is Fleabag’s best episode by far.)
3. Rachel Brosnahan/Natasha Lyonne
5. Catherine O’Hara
6. Christina ApplegateSeptember 10, 2019 at 1:54 pm #1203068072
Most of these clips are perfect tbh

Honey, why is Brosnáhan so low? She is definitely annoying as hell! but she still acts circlesSeptember 10, 2019 at 1:59 pm #1203068093
I’m surprised so many people didn’t liked O’Hara’s clip. I thought she was great. My ranking:
1.Julia Louis-Dreyfus (AMAZING CLIP!!! Now I don’t mind her winning a 7th time)
2.Phoebe Waller-Bridge (She’s ALWAYS AMAZING!!! I hope she wins the Emmy. But after seeing JLD’s clip…)
5.Christina Applegate (She should have submitted the premiere. She was good in this episode but what she did in the premiere was incredible. This clip also reminds me of how Linda was robbed of a nomination. She was fenomenal in the finale and the third episode. Well both were great in ALL of them.)
6.Rachel Brosnahan (HATED THIS CLIP!!! Everything felt forced. I know she’s great in the show because I’ve seen many clips of her and she’s very good. But this clip is BAD!!!).September 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm #1203068095
You can’t appreciate Rachel’s performance based on a single clip because she really portrays two characters, Midge in her day to day life and Midge when she performs. It’s really phenomenal how she seamlessly transitions from one to the other.
This clip is the closest she gets to mixing both these sides of Midge but she’s still performing in front on an “audience”.

Exactly and if you watch the show this clip is amazing. She can see how she is losing her confidence and control after she saw her father is in the audience.
