Btw, I don’t appreciate all the judgemental comments towards me on this thread from people that have no idea what I went through this past week. I lost my father to cancer this past week so I’ve been extra emotional and spacey. So until you start judging someone for needing a vacation and forgetting something that they wrote on here, try to remember that you don’t always know what’s going on in other peoples lives. I need a break from here.

I knew I felt something was wrong the past few days. You’re such a sweet person and I hope you don’t take things too seriously. We all love you and I hope your vacation makes you feel better.

I really hope voters don’t think like you do.

    I don’t understand – why not?

She is a deserving winner. She has the hype. She is an absolute favorite and a darling as well. I don’t mind her winning a bit

Colman would have been a worthy victor for season one so I’m indifferent to her winning this year. It’s kind of similar to Thandie Newton for me, who I found painfully underutilised in Westworld season 2 but was happy to see win because of her performance in the first season.

Plus this was perhaps the most hysterical thing all season: https://youtu.be/HymBi3pHAAw?t=207

LOL, loved this. Sian is my girl, but honestly, even with less screentime, every single scene with Oliva was gold. She has impeccable comedic timing, so yeah I won’t be mad at all if she wins.

I’d put Sian Clifford and Alex Borstein ahead of Olivia Colman in terms of performance, but I think Colman will win. Unlike many users on here, I think she’d be a deserving winner, even if she’s not my favorite. She’s consistently excellent every time she’s onscreen, and sometimes, that’s all a voter needs to give their support. However, a win for Clifford would make my day. She was my favorite supporting actress across all genres this TV season, and I don’t know anyone who’d say she’s not worthy.

I might be more partial to her lesbian line, but this moment was utterly brilliant as well. One of the few moments where she dropped the whole passive aggressive act and let her real monstrous personality show.

Colman is great in Fleabag. I don’t get the hate. She has some brilliant comedic lines and her timing makes it hilarious.

FYC Golden Globes- Fleabag, The Crown, Olivia Colman, Jennifer Aniston

FYC Oscars- Maggie Smith, Charlize Theron, Brad Pitt, Adam Driver

FYC Emmys- Schitts Creek, The Crown, Years and Years

Colman is deserving of the nod, and her passive aggressiveness was delicious, but there are much richer and more complex performances in the bunch that it’ll sad to see them left unrewarded for a guest starring performance.

Borstein is my favorite nominee but like others said I would be happy with Colman, Clifford and Goldberg winning too because I’m a fan of all of them.

Her going off after the priest leaves is probably one of the best scenes of the television season. Emmy please.

Also got banned because...reasons? So, I guess ciao.

I’d honestly be fine with anyone but McKinnon winning. D’arcy Carden should’ve taken her spot.

Those clips make me want to rewatch the show lol.

Clifford has the bigger supporting role and absolutely deserves a win but Colman also deserves for not wasting a single second of her screentime. I believe the director when he describes how difficult it was not to keep cutting back to her because she was like a “f**kkng Ferrari”.

I adore her introductions to her collection of acquaintances at her wedding – so ridiculous and yet you know you have met someone like her in real life just maybe not distilled to such passive aggressive intensity.

Anyway does seem like she is not attending the Emmys – have yet to see her seating unlike PWB and Clifford.

Maisel swept the Creative Arts Emmy. It’s winning the Comedy Emmy.
