So I’m still confused on vote splitting… there are no ties right? If this was the actual ballot and two nominees had the same amount of votes what happens? I’m just curious.

I wish people would stop asking the cast if they liked the ending. What are they going to say, no?

Those interviewers sucked. The same questions over and over again… and they didn’t even know the facts. I have to laugh. And can they PLEASE stop mentioning the coffee cup; it was a moment and now that moment is over.

Can you provide us with a link? I’m confused, did fans cast a vote or are these Anonymous Ballots from Academy members?

Yeah I was wondering the same. Can’t find the source of this anywhere and I’m curious.

I’m struggling to decide whether to place a superbet on Succession winning directing at 100/1, or go with a safer option.

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)

Ikr…I cringed so bad when he mentioned it and started laughing. It was borderline rude.

I think I put my super bet on comedy writing and drama series… I still have a feeling “The Long Night” will take directing over Succession.

That’s what I did. My other super bet is fleabag.

Emilia Clarke basically said no. There’s a video where she’s asked to show her facial expressions while she read through the last episode for the first time. She then showed off an expression that was a mixture of boredom and confusion and mimes throwing up. I’m not quite sure how to interpret that as anything but her saying she disliked the ending.

Emilia Clarke said she loved the ending. You’re only reading into things that aren’t there.

I put my Super bets on GoT at writing as a good luck charm and Emilia Clarke on Lead Actress. Both categories I find somewhat possible yet not very likely.. but the odds are nice in the case they do come true. Theres no actual money involved so I don’t care lol

As for the Clarke interview mentioned above, her answer was taken out of context in the famous internet meme, as always pretty much

Succession for best Drama Series, Emmys 2020
