I’m gonna be honest. I’m kind of enjoying you guys now. You’re obsession with defending seemingly every aspect of this shitty season is honestly really funny. You’re commitment is actually somewhat impressive. I particularly love the notion one of you brought up that D&D’s writing was actually just too smart for everyone to follow. I’ll play nice and try not to egg you guys on a whole lot anymore.

Trust me, it’s equally amusing watching you trying and failing to find ways to criticize GOT’s amazing final season.

Can we just change the subject. The show is over, petitions filled, fans have moved on, so has HBO and it will win Best Drama (deserving or non-deserving)… let’s stop talking about the final season

If vote splitting somehow happens in Best Supporting Actor category, and Peter doesn’t win – then who do you think will win?

Notice that the season 8 stans have nothing to say when you bring up completely solid proof that the scene is unbelievably illogical.

Of course, the only thing they managed to say to me is that I was supposedly rude 🤣 Yeah, when you dislike the truth, everything is rude. Grey Worm and the Dothraki (the writing is so pathetic that they decide to completely IGNORE their existence and also how they ressurected after Episode 3) would have NEVER wait for someone, they would have killed both useless Tyrion and Jon immediately after Dany’s death. They were ready to die for her when she was alive, nothing would have change after her death. The Dothraki have alwyas done what they want, but now they were afraid of Sansa hahahahahahahahaha. If the writing was not that bad, D&D would have hide this much. And Isaac is a terrible actor, this is why NO ONE cared for Bran.

And no, I am not forcing anything on you, you can defend this shitty season as much as you want, I feel represented enough.

This became a contest of who can make the longest post on this thread.

Darlings, you better get ready for seeing Lena Headey taking her overdue Emmy in a day.

If vote splitting somehow happens in Best Supporting Actor category, and Peter doesn’t win – then who do you think will win?

In my opinion Coster-Waldau. Fans saw him as having a “bad arc” and victim to bad writing but we know the Academy disagrees. He was stunningly effective at making you think he was wonderfully redeemed in episode 2 only to to do an uncomfortable about face in episode 4. Whether people liked his about face or not (Coster Waldau even said on Kimmel last night most don’t) played it incredibly well.

He’s also one of my favourite actors to watch as a screen partner. He’s unselfish enough to give away the energy to the other person in the room where appropriate to better the scene, and it makes for a better overall viewing experience (the best other example I can give of this from another show is Rhea Seehorn from Better Call Saul. She really measures the temperature of the room against Odenkirk and Odenkirk shines because of it – it frustrates me that she gets overlooked)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDY70YrchhY – Knights Oath speech (part of the longer fireside sequence in episode 2 – Coster Waldau’s bit)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQLDDwcAEBo – Courtyard Scene

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EJHSfrZex0 – Red Keep Collapse / Cersei / Jaime Death (he completely allows Lena to shine here and it would have been so easy to play it differently)

If there is vote spiltting between the GOT actors (I still think peter has it hands down), I think Chris sullivan (this is us) would be next in line.

If Billy Porter loses I’m throwing hands unless Milo wins.

    We know what’ll happen otherwise:

Maisie is pulling a Cynthia Nixon on Headey, you’ll see..
Not trying to be a mood killer but it’s best if we all go in on the big night with extremely low expectations.

And I would be happy for that. There os still time to give awards to people from Ozark and KE. This is the last opportunity to give it to someone from GoT. Who is not Dinklage. And I feel Maisie is the best option.

True, but Headey always gets an honorable mention. Everyone (figure of speech) respects her work on GoT and are annoyed by the fact that she’s Emmyless. She can win, but I just can’t see her having the support. If Maisie didn’t have that good of a year I’d consider her more as a possibility.

I think Coster-Waldau should win as he was this season’s MVP alongside Gwendoline Christie. Jaime Lannister was ruined, but Nikolaj still managed to give a beautiful performance. However, if Dinklage suffers from vote splitting, then so will his costars, and therefore, Nikolaj’s not winning.

Jonathon Banks is probably the runner up. He gave a great performance this year and he’s still owed an Emmy after his season 1 snub. I don’t think Esposito will take away too many votes, as Banks had a clearly bigger season, but in the event that he does, then Chris Sullivan will take it, as his big episode really seemed to strike a chord with people this year.
