It is obvious that you have never watched neither show. Jesse was as popular as Walter. Mike, Saul, Hank and Gus were very beloved as well. And BTC is an amazing show, a 10000 times better than GoT.

Better Call Saul had a great first season, but got progressively worse. The only thing the show had going for it was Jimmy and Chuck’s dynamic, but after that, the show became aimless, and season 4 suffered greatly because of it. And GOT’s worse season is better than every season of BCS. It’s not even a contest.

Honey, there is way too much Game of Thrones love. BARF!

There can never be too much love for GOT. That’s how amazing it is.

Let’s be real, we can’t compare the biggest show in history with some random drama that 60% of audience stopped watching because it’s too boring.

By the end of it’s run only cast and crew will watch it.

BCS is not even in top 5 this year. GoT, KE, Pose, Bodyguard and Succession are all better.

I am sensing that Sterling K Brown will win. You have 5 nominees who have never won/receiving his first nomination and a previous winner – they will vote for the previous winner.

I think Coster-Waldau should win as he was this season’s MVP alongside Gwendoline Christie. Jaime Lannister was ruined, but Nikolaj still managed to give a beautiful performance.

I do think Coster-Waldau being excellent even if people were somewhat horrified about the character decisions (which was sort of the point) has been under no debate.

So let’s recap. We have two users who love Game of Throne’s 8th season, both of them hate Better Call Saul, and it just so happens that they joined GoldDerby on the exact same day.

Is it just me, or is something fishy going on here?

I ask the mods to check my IP then.

But it’s interesting that this place became such strong GoT hate echo chamber that some people can’t believe there is anyone to defend it. Only trolls. GoT won at Gold Derby Awards. The Long Night was chosen as the best episode of the year on this site. There are still  lot of GoT fans.

    And more haters than ever.

Hate is a strong word. I think BCS is good, but not that good. And this isn’t the first time that I’ve been accused of operating under two usernames. It is quite remarkable that you’re having such a hard time understanding people love GOT season 8.

Popularity has it’s price. But still I think GoT spin off shows will be far more successful than BCS even if Breaking Bad had more popular ending. Controversy brings attention.

I even think there is a chance that GoT spin off will be more successful than any other fantasy show currently in production.

If HBO decided to continue GoT and make season 9 I’m sure it would break S8’s ratings record.

I know a lot of people who started watching the show after S8. That number will continue in months and years to come. 10 years from now I expect there will still be some GoT show on HBO. And no TWOW lol

Fun fact : Rami Malek received his Emmy and Oscar from Allison Janney.

If the Oscars hadn’t interfered with the traditional format this year then Janney would have presented Mahershala Ali with his Oscar after receiving hers from Ali the year before.
