Resuming the other thread
Laura Harington, darling, your big amount of class is turning me on. Sorry for calling you boring as fuck. But, anyways, don’t take these forums too seriously. It’s a health advice from Thatcher.

July 17, 2019 at 9:00 am #1202981247Oh my god!! The nominations!! I’m amazed!! Holy Jesus Christ. I’m so happy for all the GOT actors!!!! They deserve it. I knew they should get in!!! So so happy. Beyond proud of the Academy. I can’t wait to see the winners but… I COULDN’T CHOOSE. What a group of talented nominees!!!! Very happy.
July 17, 2019 at 9:04 am #1202981251Darlings, there’s only one option.

July 17, 2019 at 9:07 am #1202981256Delusional to think Chris Sullivan is the worst acting nominee when in actual fact he’s very deserving. He has a nice potential submission with 3×16 (“Don’t Take My Sunshine Away”).
Chris Sullivan’s nomination actually has given me hope that Justin Hartley has a chance next year. They are clearly watching the show. If the producers/ NBC were smart with episode submissions, they might’ve gotten in at least Writing too.
Disappointed about Casting and Music Supervision snubs.
Very happy for Siddhartha Khosla!
I had hoped the show would get Music & Lyrics (“Invisible Ink”) too… but oh well.
7 acting nominations though! What a talented cast!
This Is Us vs Game of Thrones vs Big Little Lies at next year’s SAG (Ensemble).

Mandy Moore’s make sense if they are just playing catch-up from last year or if she was 7th or 8th last year in a stronger field. That I can accept.
But Chris Sullivan being nominated means that people must have voted for him that didn’t vote for Justin Hartley, which makes no sense to me. I just don’t know who would do that, considering that Hartley had a bigger role and better material and has a generally buzzier performance.
And I guess I don’t buy the argument that people are actually watching This Is Us, because if that were true, why couldn’t Susan Kelechi Watson come within 2% of say, Fiona Shaw? This Sullivan nomination is really throwing me.
July 17, 2019 at 10:03 am #1202981372I think Bryan Cogman’s script would’ve gotten a nomination had HBO submitted it.

I agree about Hartley or Kelechi Watson tho.
