Yeah Mandy Moore shouldnt be underestimated but I don’t think BAFTA should be used as an example of Comer being ahead of Oh.

And of course that particular user would say Harrington is better than Porter lmao.

Billy Porter has the best emmy tape. Jason Bateman is, very likely, on the show that a number most of voters watches (I’m not considering Kit because… you know) and Bob Odenkirk is the best. It’s between those three.

How can people still doubting GoT stregnth?… GoT has the amount of nominations of Killing Eve, Ozark, Succession and Pose combined.

FYC: Drama Series: Game of Thrones, Comedy Series: Barry, Limited Series: Chernobyl, Drama Lead Actor: Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Drama Lead Actress: Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Drama Directing: Miguel Sapochnik for The Long Night (Game of Thrones), Drama Writing: Jed Mercurio for Episode 1 (Bodyguard)

I feel like Bob has always been the second place in these Actor races. I think he was second to Hamm, Malek, and Brown. He can’t seem to catch a break.

Big fan of Better Call Saul, Sex Education, Barry, BoJack Horseman, and, especially, Survivor

Well that BAFTA snub for Richard Madden also didn’t mean anything…

No but it combined with Oh being ignored at TCA definitely should

Comer is not ahead of Oh but is close enough that a vote split is inevitable.

Even though it was technically for Season 1, Sandra Oh did win Golden Globe, SAG, and Critics’ Choice for this role.

Like you said it was for season 1. If voters are watching season 2 and it seems like they are, then she’s definitely not winning. Patricia Arquette also swept the precursors and yet she’s about to lose the Emmy.

I hope not… Comer deserves it over Oh for Season 2 and I’m not going to underestimate the voters after Claire Foy got the win last year.

Darlings, here’s why Emilia Clarke is winning the Emmy: 1. The voters clearly jerk off thinking about Game of Thrones. 32 nods. 2. Her performance was a standout. 3. Her competition is pretty weak. Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer could vote split, House of Cards’ last season wasn’t well received, Ozark isn’t too much of a menace and Viola Davis seems like a filler. 4. The Emmys have loved her since season 3, and have nominated her in Supporting even when she didn’t deserve it. 5. She’s been acclaimed by critics. 6. It’s the most mainstream character in the show. 7. Her performance was one of the few things that improved this season. So, Mad Lady Gaga is winning a dildo for her crazy vagina.

We’ve officially stopped being enemies. Wow 🖤

I don’t watch Pose so it’s interesting to see that there’s someone who might have a better tape than Sterling K. Brown’s “R&B” which I thought was a brilliant showcase for an actor who has won this category before with a less impressive (in my opinion… but still excellent) tape. In any other year I’d predict multiple SAG nominee Brown to repeat but he faces stiff competition from his co-star, Milo Ventimiglia, who may have an equally impressive episode (with “Sometimes”). His is much more subtle compared to Brown’s showy performance (although he gets to cry in one or two scenes) and I would think he plays a more liked character.

But anyways, narrative usually works better than any tape/ episode submission.

Let’s be real. Kit Harington is embarrassing, but he’s close to the win.

Darlings, here’s Thatcher’s ranking of the Best Drama Series nominees:

    1. Pose (MASTERPIECE)

    2. Killing Eve

    3. This Is Us (entertainment is served)

    4. Succession

    5. Bodyguard

    6. Ozark

    7. Better Call Saul

    8.

Darling, it seems very obvious she’s winning. We’re friends now.

LENA HEADEY hasn't got an Emmy for Game of Thrones????? Emmys you need to win her right now!!

Lena Headey ("Game of Thrones") for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

If Lena Headey doesn't win the Emmy, I'm leaving GoldDerby forever.

I think Mandy Moore’s submission should be 3.15, The waiting room, and not 3.14. She has a really good scene in it.
