If one show were to take down Game of Thrones and shock all of us, what would it be?

Killing Eve especially because KE was nominated in acting, directing, writing and editing categories.

Actually,if there’s a show that would have a chance against GOT it is Succession only because it’ll be airing new episodes at the same time that Academy voters are filling their ballots. In reality Thrones is winning by a landslide.

FYC: Drama Series: Game of Thrones, Comedy Series: Barry, Limited Series: Chernobyl, Drama Lead Actor: Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Drama Lead Actress: Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Drama Directing: Miguel Sapochnik for The Long Night (Game of Thrones), Drama Writing: Jed Mercurio for Episode 1 (Bodyguard)

The only show that can beat Game of Thrones is Game of Thrones.

Emmy voters must bend the knee to Lena Headey & Emilia Clarke for "Game of Thrones." It's their last chance to award them. Make it happen.

Hmm, just to change the topic…

So those of you who have watched Ozark can tell me which episode showcases Garner’s performance the best? What would you submit as her tape? I don’t watch the show and want to have a general idea of how good she is.

All this scoop we’re getting is making me very happy.

What about Emilia? Any chance in hell that she wins?

I don’t remember titles but there is an episode where she gets beat up by Janet McTeer’s character’s boss’s men. After that she cries in the shower. Probably that, or the finale. But she has iconic scenes throughout the show (and season). She’s great. She deserves to win. If it wasn’t for Headey being Emmyless I would totally Thatcher-campaign her lol.

That’s episode five, “Game Day.” And I totally agree. Either that, episode two, or the finale.

Does anybody think Game of Thrones has any chance in Writing, or will another show win?

D&D will (unfortunately) win writing. GOT will be in full sweep mode, and if they already felt the need to nominate it, then why wouldn’t they just check it off again now? The internet bubble will cloud our analysis of this race, which is why it’s behind Killing Eve & Bodyguard in the predictions center. Look, it didn’t win last year, which makes it vulnerable, but it also has 10 more nods than last year. I think KE could upset, because names aren’t on the ballot and some people probably think they’re awarding PWB. Bodyguard is not winning writing.

Honey, Oh is winning. They love Killing Eve. It’s not winning anything else other than Oh’s overdue dildo, but it’s definitely top 3 in every category, except supporting actress where that love translated into simply an undeserved nod for Shaw.

What about lead actor? Porter or Bateman?

I think Bateman will win. The Emmys look at the SAG awards and follow suit. I agree his win will be like Thandie Newton from Westworld. Bateman has better performance in S1 Than S2. Linney was the best performance in S2

But then I saw an article saying for the past 8yrs the Emmys have been awarding Lead Actor Drama for the 1st or Final season, so that means possibly Porter or Harington could be the favs. Anyone else agree?????

I think that Killing Eve will take the Lead Actress and Writing combo. Also Bob Odenkirk could take Lead Actor and Better Call Saul win Writing.
