there are some people who really like Oh’s performance more.

Lots of people do. Clearly the forums favor Comer but I don’t believe that that reflects how people feel on the whole.

I just believe that Oh is more respected and, yes, overdue, in the industry’s eyes. All this parsing of who was better in season 1 v. season 2 is irrelevant – voters do not think like that.

I am just not buying the vote-split theory right now, especially when there is not really a consensus on who is next in line.

Let’s be real. She’s going Emmyless.

i am very surprised by the amount of work Lena headey has been able to get after GOT. Seems like producers were waiting to cast her. Maybe all this good News can translate in more buzz

Explain please. Is she going to grab her very first Oscar nomination ?

no, i mean for example fighting with my family, gunpowder milkshake, dark crystal, the Rita american remake. If you look at the rest of her filmography the past few years nothing else has really been A-list but now she is getting that so i’m very happy.

Darling, that’s because she’s delivered the best performance in GOT and producers know she’s very versatile. Taste, darlings, taste.

It is going to be hard for Game of Thrones not to break the record. I intend to predict it conservatively, but I am still predicting it to tie the record: Series, Supporting Actor, Costumes, Editing, Makeup, Production Design, Prosthetics, Score, Sound Editing, Stunts, Titles and Visual Effects. It has not even won Sound Editing in four years, but the competition is just gone. My list is also not including probable wins like Directing, Cinematography and Sound Mixing.

I want Lena to win but imagine if Gwendolen Christie, who HBO didn’t even submit, takes the Emmy. Fucking priceless.

The amount of articles I have seen about her self submitting.. it wouldn’t surprise me.

(Accidentally deleted this when I meant to press edit lol)

Yeah, Christie is great and all (and I’m happy for her) but out of all the actresses whose submitted in the category for the show over the years, she’d be the last I’d give the win to. Ugh, those Dormer, Fairely, and Van Houten-Supporting snubs. But her and Allen’s nominations makes me think McCann would’ve gotten in if he had submitted.

I agree with this. Oh seems like the more respected actress, understandably so as she’s been working in this industry for so long, and critics have really been pushing her ever since the show started. I’ve listened to several podcasts, and there are some people who really like Oh’s performance more.

But hasn’t Comer been nominated for more awards for Season 2?

I don’t think so. There are only three awards I know that Killing Eve S2 was eligible for. Both the actresses got in at the Emmys, Comer at TCA and Oh at Saturn Awards.

I think people are really undermining Oh.

Gwendoline Christie actually deserves the award this year unlike Lena Headey 🤷‍♂️

Neither really come close to deserving an emmy for this season.
