Darlings, Thatcher is on a holiday but came back just to say that LENA HEADEY’s pussy is finally going to be satisfied with a golden dildo on September 23rd. Bye, bitches.

LENA HEADEY hasn't got an Emmy for Game of Thrones????? Emmys you need to win her right now!!
If Lena Headey doesn't win the Emmy, I'm leaving GoldDerby forever.

I’d just like to describe my ideal wins for Game of Thrones at the main ceremony. Emilia Clarke wins actress, Kit Harington wins actor, Lena Headey wins supporting actress, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau wins supporting actor, and Miguel Sapochnik wins director, while D&D lose writing, and the series loses the top prize. The wins for Harington and Headey would make up for them getting almost no good material despite the fact that Jon Snow and Cersei Lannister are two of the best and most popular characters on the show. It would also make up for Headey’s season 5 snub, and both of them getting snubbed for season 6. The wins for Clarke and Coster-Waldau would make up for their characters being completely ruined by this season. Coster-Waldau’s win  would also make up for his season 3 snub. And all four actor wins would ultimately be a tribute to them doing the very best that they could with such awful writing. Sapochnik’s win would be simply because his direction was absolutely superb. With all these other wins happening, having D&D lose for their shit writing would feel like a proper insult to the two men who messed up an entire beloved series in just 4 episodes. The show losing series would also show the importance of strong writing, and how you can’t have a truly great season without it.

If D&D win for writing…omg…that would be the biggest slap in the face to true Game of Thrones fans and to the internet. But…it would also be kind of epic because the internet would explode.

The way I see it, D&D winning for writing would be an insult to writers everywhere. But it would also result in some hilarious reactions, so it wouldn’t be all that bad.

A good and maybe realistic scenario in my opinion:
Series: Succession (alt: Game of Thrones)
Actor: Billy Porter (alt: Milo Ventimiglia)
Actress: Emilia Clarke (alt: Jodie Comer)
Supporting Actor: Nikolaj (alt: Peter Dinklage)
Supporting Actress: Lena Headey (alt: Maisie)
    Directing: The Long Night
    Writting: Nobody Is Ever Missing

I agree with most of these. The only thing not realistic IMO is the series win. I’m not even second-guessing a Game of Thrones loss for Drama series. I don’t even have a real alternative.

I wouldn’t categorize those who hated season 8 as necessarily “true GoT fans”.

Actually a writing win will be a slap in the face for internet mind-control, and only that

FYC: Lena Headey ("Game of Thrones") for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, Miguel Sapochnik (“Game of Thrones”) for Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series

I don’t know if it means anything but I see a lot of blue check marks losing their minds over the first 2 episodes of Succession. The buzz on twitter.com is real. Don’t think it can carry it to Drama Series but it is happening right as voting is happening.

Ah yes, cause everybody knows the first condition of being a “true GOT fan” is to accept whatever shitty storyline Dumb and Dumber puts in front of us without any question, criticism, or hesitation.

Cause God forbid people should be able to think critically for themselves.

Guess what, true fans dedicated many years of their lives to this show. So no wonder they were disappointed, because S8 was an insult to the show itself. Hating/criticizing/disliking a season doesn’t make you less of a fan than anyone who blindly loves it.

Emmy voters must bend the knee to Lena Headey & Emilia Clarke for "Game of Thrones." It's their last chance to award them. Make it happen.

Based on performance, I think Julia Garner should win. But I really find it hard to think that she, whose career is really taking off, should win over Lena Headey after eight stellar seasons on Game of Thrones. I know that’s not really a proper assessment, but I still want Lena Headey to win so bad.
