Darlings, if Lena Headey doesn’t win her Emmy I’m definitely leaving.

I need someone to explain to me this Alfie Allen passion. I can understand Lena Heady nod with the limited screentime but the Allen one I just can’t. The Academy members are as fans of GoT as those on Westeros.org and Watchers Of The Wall.

The Oscar needs to get rid of the preferential ballot so it can name a deserving movie as Best Picture again.

IT is between her and Maise.

I have too much to say, really. These may be my favorite Emmy nominations, ehm, EVER:

    • HTGAWM getting THREE nominations is just surreal. Queen Viola is back.
    • Handmaid’s getting 11 nominations for so-called “panned” episodes gives me absolute life. The Emmys aren’t done with this one.
    • I am happy for each and every GOT actor that got in (well, maybe not Kit). Alife and Gwendoline getting in, as well as Carice, makes me want to shed tears of happiness. Emilia Clarke is coming for that win, I’m telling you (well she’s not, but if anyone beats Oh, then it’s her)
    • Yikes at Homecoming. Can’t say I’m sad, because I hated the show.
    • Where the f*ck is Richard Madden??? Bodyguard performs well, but he’s snubbed? I guess Sasha was right.
    • Holy moly This Is Us. So glad I ended up sticking with it! I am sooooo happy that Milo made it in for his best season yet. And wow Mandy Moore and Chris Sullivan. Justin Hartley once again criminally snubbed.
    • I put in Fiona Shaw last minute and she’s propably winning. Yikes. Killing Eve overperformed!
    • Succession vastly underperformed, wow!

Oscar FYC - Lupita Nyong'o & Elisabeth Moss ("Us") - Best Actress & Supporting Actress. It must happen; otherwise the Tethered are coming.

    LOL based on what?

Look I want her to win but it’s so obvious a vote split is gonna happen and Fiona Shaw’s veteran status will help her in that category.

Mandy Moore got an industry award nomination before Emily blunt. Is this planet earth?

So we are acting like SAG and BAFTA are not part of the industry now?

Moore’s make up nomination is sweet, but Roberts getting snubbed is so disgraceful. And Harrington getting in over Madden can literally never be forgiven

Roberts is probably going to be deterred from doing more TV work with this snub (and the SAG snub earlier in the year). For her career BEST performance as well.

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)

let me know when an Oscar nominee or Emmy nominee would trade their Oscar/Emmy nomination for a SAG or BAFTA nomination.

    1. Sophoe Turner being emmy nominee is honestly a joke. Academy is very openminded now. Lol
    2. Odenkirk is definitely winning. Y’all assume BCS was going to flop. It just got the nominations Bon deserved to support his undeniable win.
    3. Sarah Paulson is very disposable lol. She only happens either when she really delivers, or when she has her show and some costars backing her up. She is definitely not happening next year. The Drama Lead Actress is gonna be filled with high profile and Oscar winning actresses. I suggest y’all to enjoy Ratched without any hope for awards recognition.
    4. 4 actresses from Got is a bit of a stretch, especially Turner and Christie. The latter was NOT Emmy worthy, this could have just happened at the Kids Choice Awards. Why did the TV academy embarrass themselves like that?
    5. These additional nods from Got are just meh… it’s clearly for audience and goodbye.
    6. Richard Madden. I’m not sad whatsoever!

    Wow what awful takes!

The nod for Jason Bateman is pretty horrible and given the broad support for GoT i doubt that Kit Harrington got in in six place.

Maybe not returning for s2 made it seems like she was treating Homecoming as a side job and not taking TV seriously.
