Ok so I took some time to process these nominations instead of impulsively posting dumb shit and now that I’ve took the whole day to think about it…

    1. They went out of their way to not nominate Justin Hartley and it is a shame. Chris Sullivan is beyond undeserving and anybody who watches This Is Us knows this. I’m pissed off.

    2. Even though, I’m extremely happy about Mandy Moore getting a nomination, this is 100% a make up nom for last year.

    3. Viola Davis and Glynn Thurman!!!! Thank god.

    4. Expect GOT to sweep everything. They checked it off every time it was on the ballot so they’ll do the same when choosing the winners. Series, Actress, Directing, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress at least. The latter going to whichever GOT actress campaigns the best. Vote splitting won’t be a problem since Shaw and Garner wont get enough votes.

    5. I have no idea what’s winning writing and lead actor. GOT might  (undeservingly) take those as well tbh.

    6. The drama race is uninteresting. Find me in the comedy thread.

What’s everyone’s deal with Fiona Shaw? I haven’t seen season 2 of Killing Eve and I really don’t know much about the actress, but I seem to remember many on this forum rooting for her last year (when she was snubbed). Now people are rooting against her when she’s been nominated. What gives? Mediocre performance? Lack of screentime? I’m curious to know.

They really hate Christine Baranski don’t they.

She’s a 15 time Emmy nominee who’s actually won an Emmy, so no. Emmy voters obviously just aren’t into or aren’t watching her show. I mean, do they really watch CBS All Access? I never bought into the hype of her getting nominated.

    Sorry but… you’re wrong.

The Viola love here is giving me life. What a queen. Her fifth consecutive Emmy nomination! And next year she’ll have the “final season” narrative, so maybe she does get in! (though that field is way too stacked already!)

Oscar FYC - Lupita Nyong'o & Elisabeth Moss ("Us") - Best Actress & Supporting Actress. It must happen; otherwise the Tethered are coming.

The guy playing Theon can definitely beat Dinklage, do not underestimate him.

in terms of ABC, How to Get Away With Murder got more nominations than Modern Family, Black-ish, The Connors, Jimmy Kimmel, and it tied Shark Tank and Jeffersons Live. OMG I stan.

You wish! Evan Rachel Wood is that B. Viola is just a filler here, nothing to be proud of. Plus your gifs selection are always basic, let the gif thing to real professional!

Attacking people on their gif selection? Beyond dumb. Also, stay pressed while Viola enjoys her fifth consecutive Emmy nom.
