You have to watch it, seriously. And yeah, the writing is phenomenal, especially the finale. I’d give directing to WTSU and writing to Chernobyl, if they were to split.

She should have stayed in supporting where she belonged if she wanted to win. She would have been my choice.

Poor Buckley. She was worthy, imo. Devastating performance.

I wish she had gotten some recognition for War and Peace a few years ago.

TV Movie category has lost a lot of steam that I doubt voters care about them anymore. …Obviously they will be nominated in TV Movie category, but I’m not predicting any acting/writing/directing nominations for them.

This had indeed been the case this year.

Honey, Niecy Nash better win Lead Actress.

She’s not even lead, and Aujaunae was even better than her.

Episode 4 is the closest she was to lead, and even then, she was mostly supporting to Jharrel Jerome.

    She won’t win.

I feel like Harris beating Jerome would mean a Chernobyl win, but not necessarily the vice versa. I also feel like Jerome is going to be WTSU’s only acting win, with Assante Blackk getting into supporting I think MKW is going to have a hard time triumphing. I loved Williams performance, but Blackk would for sure get my vote.

I actually think Leguizamo is the one who will steal votes from Williams. He has significantly more screen time and got in last year for a show that bombed. My WTSU vote would go to Blackk as well, because I was so impressed by him in that first episode! But I am still praying for overdue Paul Dano to win! Such a searing performance on that show; I hope he submits the finale. I still don’t buy Ben Whishaw

Oscar FYC - Lupita Nyong'o & Elisabeth Moss ("Us") - Best Actress & Supporting Actress. It must happen; otherwise the Tethered are coming.

Rooting for Dano as well. I haven’t seen Whishaw, but Dano will benefit from having the most screen time among the contenders (like I said, I don’t know about Whishaw). Vote splitting among the WTSU guys could help as well, and I really do think there will be vote splitting among them.

    She won’t win.

The additional wins Regina King received suggest she’s as competitive as anyone. Although, I think white actresses will rule the female categories while the two boys from When They See Us will take the male categories.

Kathy Bates for Best Supporting Actress (Richard Jewell)

Is Mahershala off the table? He did just win his 2nd Oscar, but it seems the hype for TD completely faded

I think Ali hysteria has died down with award bodies throwing him hardware for the time being.

King has literally nothing to do with Nash lol, what is this? Nash has limited screen time and a co star of hers competing in the same category as her. Not to mention, her competition just flat out give better performances than her. It’s between Williams and Arquette with Adams as a possible dark horse. But Williams should take this, especially after Fosse/Verdon overperformed.
